There is nothing wrong with this; in fact, many a site has used this method to great effect over the years, although many more have fallen by the wayside after failing to get the balance right.

Design and theme

A pale blue colour scheme dominates the Casimpo site in terms of original design, but there is also a lot of artwork provided by popular games that are available at the site.

This allows the basic blue background not to seem insufficient, instead providing a simple backdrop to an intense cacophony of colour and energy provided by the thumbnails on the homepage.

The banner across the top of the page also adds a level of intensity while never losing that game's first attitude.

By using the designs of the games themselves to bring the site to life, Casimpo avoids the trap of looking boring while also ensuring not to do so much with the design that the site becomes too busy and difficult to look at for long periods of time.

The thumbnails on the homepage double up as well, adding to the ease of navigation that is present throughout the site, thanks in part to the clearly labelled game categories and other information that is one click away at all times while at the Casimpo site.

This is not the best-looking site we’ve seen, from ProgressPlay or anyone else, but it does what it needs to in order to allow the games to move front and centre.

With the software available here being so clearly the centrepiece of the site, it would be a real shame if there was not enough on offer, but there’s no such problem here.
