SlotFruit was founded in December 2009 by Becky Mosley and Matt Kennedy — two slot players who’d already been knocking around the UK iGaming industry since 2008 and figured the casino-comparison world deserved the same player-first treatment that price-comparison sites had brought to insurance and broadband. Seventeen years later we’re still going, still independent, and still run by the same two people who started it (with Zena Grantham, our news editor, who’s been with us almost since day one).

We’re based in Lincolnshire, England — not London, not Malta, not Gibraltar — and SlotFruit is owned and operated by Take Marketing Limited, a UK-registered private limited company.

Becky founded SlotFruit and still personally signs off on every casino review that goes live. If a site makes our list, she’s looked at the bonus terms, played the games, and decided whether it’s worth recommending. She also writes the bulk of our slot-site reviews — over 130 of them and counting.

Matt co-founded SlotFruit and runs everything technical. The comparison tools, the offer feeds, the mobile usability, the back-office systems that keep every listing accurate — he built them. He also does the technical SEO work that lets a small independent site compete with publishers ten times our size.

How we keep listings current

Casino offers change constantly. New bonuses, retired ones, operators getting new licences, sites shutting down, sign-up offer wagering jumping from 35x to 50x. We track all of it.

Matt’s offer-feed system pulls operator data daily and flags anything that’s changed. Becky reviews flagged listings and updates the editorial copy where the change is material. Zena watches the news wires for regulatory action and operator news, and updates the news pages accordingly. It’s a small team but the workflow is tight, and that’s why our coverage stays accurate when bigger publishers go stale.

Deep dive into slot sites

We go deep into the details, which is rarer than it should be — most comparison sites just don’t bother to unpack as much as we do. The quality and “real feel” of the games matters; without it, the experience can be a letdown.
