Rainbow Wilds Megaways

We all love an Irish themed slot and Iron Dog released Rainbow Wilds Megaways in March 2021. It’s a high volatility slot with an RTP of 96.3%. Set on a 6×7 grid, features include cascading wins, free spins, wilds, sticky wilds and free spin multipliers. Bets begin at 10p a spin and rise to £50 a spin with the maximum prize on offer 12000x your stake.

Rainbow Wilds Design

We’re heading into a magical Irish woodland with cartoon style tree, grass, 4 leaf clovers and toadstools all around. There is a pink and purple sky and a subtle soundtrack to accompany the action.

9 to A royals covered in vines and ivy make up the lower values, and a white stag, an elf, a beer, a heart, a horseshoe and a leprechaun make up the premium symbols. The Leprechaun is the highest value, paying 100x your stake for 6 on a payline. There are also 3 different wilds.

Gameplay and Features

Every time you form a win, the winning symbols are removed from the grid and new ones drop down to fill their space. The keeps repeating as long as you’re landing wins.

The mushroom is the wild and can land on the 3^rd and 4^th reels. When they land they can spread up to 3 additional wilds onto the other reels. They also come with a x1 multiplier.

The free spins round is triggered when you land at least 4 cascading wins in a row. Each additional 4 wins give you 2 more free spins up to a maximum of 14. Sticky wilds can then land which come with an increasing multiplier.

Verdict

Rainbow Wilds is a lovely looking slot with plenty of action in the free spins and the cascading wins. The additional wilds make the game volatile and the top prize will certainly appeal to plenty.
