Get ready for some magical fun with Blirix Workshop, a 5×3 video slot from Iron Dog Studios. This is a high volatility slot with an RTP of 96.1%. You can stake from 20p up to £50 per spin and have the potential to win 7000x your stake.
Game features include free spins, wilds, scatters, multipliers and symbol swaps, and it’s available to play on all devices.
Blirix Workshop Design
This is a brilliantly designed game with superb graphics and detail in every aspect. We’re inside a magical workshop with potions and bottles on shelves, spell books and chests scattered about and a cat curled up on a chair to the side.
There is a large cauldron with a blue liquid in the centre and the reels are set within the beams and wooden pillars of the workshop.
The card suits make up the lower value symbols and the higher values include a timer, a bucket, a lantern and a magic pipe. The magic pipe pays the most, 15x your stake for 5 on a payline.
The large flower is the wild which can substitute other symbols, and the Blirix is the scatter.
Gameplay and Features
When the flower wild lands on a bottom position on the reels, it expands to turn the whole reel wild for greater wins.
The spell book can land on the 3rd reel and as well as substituting other symbols, it comes with a 1 to 4 rating. The higher the rating the more potent the spell and the higher the prize.
Land at least 3 Blirix scatters and you’ll activate the free spins round, giving you between 10 and 20 free spins. During these, the symbols on the central reel are collected in the cauldron until you collect 15. Then the symbols from the cauldron drop onto the reels to try and form more wins.
If you land the spell book in this feature, this converts lower value symbols to higher values. It’s also possible to re-trigger these by landing more scatters.
Verdict
This is a great slot both in its design and with the gameplay. There are plenty of features to keep you engaged and some pretty decent prizes on offer. It you enjoy these fun, quirky slots, this one is a must to try out.
