Rainbow Wilds

Rainbow Wilds is such a predictable name for a slot game that it’s not difficult to imagine that Iron Dog Studios came up with it using some kind of automated slot name generator.

As is the case with so many slots in the modern era (and even more from before it) this slot is based on the theme of Irish Luck, and more specifically the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Not the most unique concept, we accept, but Rainbow Wilds has some nice touches to it that cause it to stand out a little.

About the slot

A five-reel, 1,024 ways to win slot, playable from 20p to £100 a spin on all compatible desktop, mobile, and tablet devices, the design here is genuinely impressive.

Not content to utilise the predictable imagery that has been used by so many of its Irish Luck predecessors, Iron Dog have taken time over creating something beautiful here, and it’s paid off.

With a lake in the background and predictable Irish images including Guinness, horse shoes, and four-leaf clovers on the reels, its nothing new, but it’s one of the best executed designs we’ve seen in a while.

Gameplay

Rainbow Wilds benefits from Expanding and Sticky Wild features throughout, and there’s also a Tumbling Reels feature.

The Tumbling Reels means that if you land a winning combination, those symbols will disappear with the above symbols dropping in to replace them, giving the chance of multiple winning combinations.

It’s these tumbles you want, as four of them will give 14 free spins, while landing eight consecutive wins will trigger 20 free spins with a mammoth 6x multiplier.

If you’re lucky, there’s some big wins to be picked up here, making this slot from Iron Dog Studios well worth your attention.
