Site Verdict: Amazing!

PlayOJO Review

It is a surprise that so many online casino sites play it safe when you consider the number of rivals each site has as a result of how busy the scene is. One would expect more sites to take risks, but as it is, the safe option appears to be the preferred one for most.

However, every now and again a site comes along that breaks the mode, not by drastically changing anything, simply by coming at the concept of an online casino from a slightly different angle.

There are two ways this site feels different, one is in its design (we’ll get to that), and the other is its player first approach, with no small print, no wagering requirements, and OJOplus, with gives customers money back on every bet they make.

The one downside from the offset is that PlayOJO describes itself as the ‘Best UK Online Casino’, which is irritating, because it’s new, and therefore isn’t, but it’s really good, so it could grow to be. This habit of claiming superiority with no evidence and from the launch of a site is something of a plague across the online casino world, and it’s about time it stopped.

Design and theme

As pointed out previously, the entire design concept just feels different here, starting with the site’s mascot, Ojo.

Ojo is a sketched face, with the features made up of the word Ojo (one wonders if the name or the face came first in the design process) and looks surprisingly good, considering how bad one would expect it to look from the description.

Ojo acts as your guide here, and the subtle nature of his (I think Ojo is a he, don’t hold me to that though) design is mirrored throughout the site.

A gentle, pastel colour scheme consisting of various soft shades of blue and purple create an instantly relaxed feel to the PlayOJO site.

Earlier I mentioned that there is no small print here, and that’s obvious from the start, with all the information you could ever need about the site clearly displayed on the homepage.

The use of a sidebar to allow quick access to games, promotions, help, and more is a nice touch, and particularly effective when used here.

It’s a simple concept, but the execution is pretty much flawless, and that makes for a great looking site, and one that definitely feels unique and stands out from its competitors.

The modern online casino scene is outrageously competitive, it is no longer possible for a site to stand out just by offering a shedload of games, they need variety in terms of software developer to ensure they are providing everything their players may need.

With over 500 games on offer from the likes of Amaya, Blueprint Gaming, edict egaming, Evolution, Extreme Live Gaming, Merkur, Microgaming, NetEnt, NextGen Gaming, NYX Gaming, SG Gaming, SkillOnNet, and Williams Interactive available to their players, this is exactly what PlayOJO does.

With a wide range of slot games, table and card games, liver dealer games, and mobile titles, PlayOJO has something to suit every taste, and a lot to suit most, putting it in a strong position to be competitive, even in this difficult market.

PlayOJO’s boast of being the best may be premature, but there is a legitimate chance of it turning out to be true as time goes on, especially because you get money back as you play, and no prizes at PlayOJO come with wagering requirements. This is transparency like one rarely sees it, being offered by a great looking casino with excellent games, PlayOJO is well worth a look.
