Microgaming have released a sequel to their Break Away slot which was themed on the game of Ice Hockey. Now we have Break Away Deluxe which is packed full of bonus features such as Smashing Wilds, Multiplier Trails and Rolling Reels.

About the slot

Break Away Deluxe, is a 5 reel, 5 row video slot where you can choose to play from 18 – 88 paylines, and is playable on all devices. You can wager from 18p up to £44 per spin, so this will suit the majority of players.

The reels are set on the background of an ice rink with symbols that include an ice machine, ice skates, helmets, ice rinks, 2 battling player, a referee, a player with a white top and one with a red top, the player with the red top has the highest value.

The wild symbol is the game logo and appears as super stacked and will increase in size with each spin, it will only land on the 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th reels in the base game, but on reels 2-5 during the free spins. The scatter symbol is the ice puck.

Gameplay

Rolling Reels feature will see symbols that are part of a winning combination disappear from the reels and new ones will take their place.

The Smashing Wild is triggered at random and players will appear on the set and turn either the 2^nd, 3^rd or 4^th reel into a full wild reel.

Landing 3, 4 or 5 of the scatter symbols in view will award you with the free spins feature, where you will be given 12 free spins and the Multiplier Trail will come into play, the multipliers will start at x2, but will increase after each winning combination up to a maximum of x8.
