Scientific Games are one of the biggest names in the industry, with several of the most popular developers around operating under their huge umbrella.
However, for many, Scientific Games is most well-known for their series of slots based on the popular board game Monopoly, and they clearly don’t mind this, as the developer has released another, Monopoly: Big Money Reel.
About the slot
With five reels and 20 paylines, Monopoly: Big Money Reel is playable from 40p to £200 a spin on all compatible desktop devices.
In terms of its look, there’s nothing new here, but there doesn’t need to be. The imagery and branding around Monopoly is so well known that it would be a strange choice for Scientific to deviate from that too much.
The cartoon style graphics bring the slot to life nicely, the reels are full of well-known images from the game including the boot, the thimble, and the top hat, while the dog, a hotel, and Mr Monopoly will appear stacked on the reels.
The latter of these stacked symbols is the most valuable, paying out 7.5x your stake for five on a payline.
The M symbol is the wild, while the note symbols play scatters of sorts.
Gameplay
The 5 Note symbol can be added to the reels randomly during the base game, with all note symbols then changing into identical noted symbols, offering a multiplier of up to 50x your stake.
There are several other features, but the big one is the Monopoly Big Money Reel Spin Bonus, which triggers with any five note symbols on the reels, resulting in a spin of a wheel for up to 250x your stake!
This is a decent enough slot, some of the features are excellent, but the Monopoly series is juts starting to feel tired now.
