This sequel feels very similar to the original in terms of design. It has that 1980s movie feel to it and like the original, the game is set in Billy’s bedroom with the 5×3 reels sitting in the centre.
Symbols are split into low, mid and high paying. We have: donuts, cassette tapes and ice creams, then boomboxes, 3D glasses and muffins, and lastly the game logo, buckets of popcorn and gremlins. The most valuable symbol pays 100x your stake and you don’t need to land symbols in a line, between 3 and 5 on the grid will pay out.
Gameplay and Features
When you land a win, the winning symbols are removed and new ones cascade down to fill their place. If you’re lucky, you’ll land another win. This continues with each win and also delivers a 1x multiplier which increases on each consecutive win.
Consecutive wins also lead you to the free spins round. You need at least 5 consecutive wins to give you at least 5 free spins.
Gizmo is the bonus symbol and when he lands, he is collected in a meter to the side. You need 10 Gizmos to trigger the bonus wheel which contains segments split into multipliers up to 50x, spin again and no win.

Verdict
The graphics may feel a little dated, but it does bring that nostalgia you get with the Gremlins films. There are loads of features and a bonus game to keep you engaged, but the main drawback is the low top prize of £50k which may put players off.
