Duck Hunters 2 is a video slot developed by Nolimit City and released on 10 September 2026. Bubba and his troublesome flock first appeared in Duck Hunters in 2025, before returning in Duck Hunters: Happy Hour. Now the hunt continues with a sequel that takes the familiar formula and turns it on its head.

The 5×6 grid features Scatter Wins, Bombs and position multipliers. However, Duck Hunters 2 expands the format with multipliers up to 16,384x per position, upgraded mechanics and three increasingly powerful Free Spins modes. The maximum win has risen from 30,000x to 40,000x the stake.

Nolimit City are not known for restraint, and Duck Hunters 2 certainly proves that concept. Our Duck Hunters 2 slot review examines whether all those additional weapons, upgrades and multipliers improve the hunt or simply make it more chaotic.

RTP and Technical Details

Duck Hunters 2 has a 5×6 grid with the Scatter Wins system. Wins are formed when eight or more matching symbols land anywhere on the grid. Winning symbols are removed before new symbols drop into the empty spaces, potentially creating further wins from the same spin.

The default RTP is 96.00%, although lower versions of 94.05% and 92.01% are available depending on the casino. Duck Hunters 2 is extremely volatile, with a 17.68% hit frequency. It is available on desktop and mobile devices, with bets ranging from 0.20 to £100 per spin. The maximum win is above the original at 40,000x the bet,

Design and Presentation

Duck Hunters 2 takes the hunt deep into the woods. The more casual surroundings of the original are replaced by a dense forest, with towering trees and thick vegetation enclosing the 5×6 grid. A battered wooden fence forms the playing area, with hunting equipment scattered around and a basket of unfortunate ducks completing the scene.

The hand-drawn style is full-on Duck Hunters. The colour palette remains muted across the woodland background, while the exaggerated characters and deliberate violence provide much of the personality. It looks rough around the edges by intention, retaining the irreverent style established by earlier releases.

Happy Hour gave the ducks a temporary break from the shooting, but that truce is clearly over. This time they are armed and fighting back, prompting Nolimit City to warn: “These feathered bastards ain’t flying south no more. They’re coming for us!”

That escalation intensifies during the bonus action. Fire rages across the grid as multipliers increase, transforming the woodland scene into a chaotic hunting ground.

Duck Hunters 2 Symbols and Payouts

Duck Hunters 2 has ten regular paying symbols, with eight or more matching symbols landing anywhere on the grid to form a Scatter Win.

The four lower-paying symbols are a slingshot, a walking egg, a can of meat and a pistol. Landing 12 or more matching symbols awards between 1x and 1.75x the bet, depending on the symbol.

Higher values are characters from the game, with an armed duck and five members of the hunting party forming the upper end of the paytable. Groups of 12 or more matching symbols award between 2x and 6x the bet.

A few special symbols appear throughout the action. The barbed-wire Wild substitutes for regular paying symbols, while the yellow flame sign acts as the Bonus symbol. Green xWays symbols and Molotov-style Bombs have separate roles, which we’ll explain more later.

Duck Hunters 2 Features

Duck Hunters 2 has an extensive set of features with a primary focus on Scatter Wins, position multipliers, xWays and Bombs.

Cascading wins allow position multipliers to increase across the grid, while xWays and Infectious xWays introduce further changes to individual positions. Bombs take a more destructive approach, clearing symbols and leaving multipliers behind.

Three main bonus rounds — Duck Hunt Spins, Hawk Eye Spins and Big Game Spins — introduce different combinations of upgrades. Further options include xTra Spin, Nolimit Boosters, Nolimit Bonus and Side Hustle, creating several additional variations on the core mechanics.

Each feature is explained separately below.

Cascades and Position Multipliers

After each Scatter Win, the winning symbols are removed, allowing new symbols to drop into the empty positions. Each position involved in the win receives a 2x multiplier.

Further wins on the same positions double their multipliers, progressing from 2x to 4x, 8x and beyond, up to a maximum of 16,384x per position. Random positions can receive multipliers at the beginning of each spin, creating additional opportunities for them to increase during subsequent cascades.

xWays and Infectious xWays

An xWays symbol transforms into a regular paying symbol and increases the multiplier on its position by 2x, 4x or 8x.

Infectious xWays extends this across the grid. Once its paying symbol is revealed, every matching symbol currently in view becomes infected and expands to the same size.

If several xWays or Infectious xWays symbols land together, they all transform into the same paying symbol.

Bomb

When the cascades end, a Bomb triggers, removing itself and every symbol above it on the same reel. Bonus symbols are unaffected by the explosion.

The Bomb leaves a sequence of position multipliers behind. Its own position is awarded 2x; the position directly above 4x, followed by 8x on the next position, with the value increasing further up the reel.

If several Bombs are present, they all explode before the next cascade begins.

Free Spins

Landing three, four or five Bonus symbols triggers one of the three Free Spin modes. Duck Hunt Spins awards 7 spins with one random upgrade, Hawk Eye Spins awards 8 spins with two upgrades, and Big Game Spins awards 10 spins with three upgrades. Position multipliers remain active throughout each feature.

Six upgrades are available:

Upgraded xWays: Regular xWays symbols transform into Infectious xWays.

Upgraded Bomb: Bombs remove symbols both above and below their landing position. The Bomb position receives a 2x multiplier, increasing to 4x for the positions immediately above and below, then to 8x for the next positions, and progressively higher from there.

Extra +2 Shots: Replaces the Extra +1 Shot symbol. Landing it awards two additional spins instead of one.

+2 Upgrades: Awards two additional upgrades from the available upgrade pool.

Extra Multipliers: Places five additional multipliers on random positions at the beginning of the first Free Spin.

+1 Spin: Awards one additional spin at the beginning of the free spins.

xTra Spin™

Following a Scatter Win during the main game, an xTra Spin may be offered once the round ends. The option appears only when its cost is equal to or less than the previous spin’s win.

The additional spin retains the position multipliers from the previous spin. A cheaper option may be offered by halving those multipliers, with the price calculated according to their values.

Bonus symbols cannot land during an xTra Spin, while Side Hustle wins alone do not qualify for the offer.

Nolimit Booster

The Nolimit Booster menu contains six optional modes that increase the cost of the base spin in exchange for a guaranteed Bonus symbol or predetermined starting multipliers.

Bonus Booster – 3x stake: Guarantees a Bonus symbol on the second reel.

Bonus Hunt – 30x stake: Places a Bonus symbol on the initial spin and every subsequent cascade caused by a win or Bomb explosion.

8 Spins – 10x stake: Begins the spin with a multiplier of 8x on every grid position.

64 Spins – 90x stake: Begins with 64x multipliers across the entire grid.

512 Spins – 800x stake: Raises every starting position multiplier to 512x.

2048 Spins – 4,000x stake: Starts every position at 2,048x, representing the most expensive Booster option.

❌  Nolimit Boosters are not available to UK players.

Feature Buy (Nolimit Bonus)

The Nolimit Bonus menu provides direct access to the three main Free Spins modes, with several alternative purchase options available.

Duck Hunt Spins – 80x stake: Awards 7 Duck Hunt Spins.

Hawk Eye Spins – 240x stake: Awards 8 Hawk Eye Spins.

Big Game Spins – 700x stake: Awards 10 Big Game Spins.

Lucky Draw – 275x stake: Randomly awards one of the three bonus rounds, with a 50% chance of Duck Hunt Spins, a 25% chance of Hawk Eye Spins and a 25% chance of Big Game Spins.

xWays Juicer Spins – 500x stake: Awards 7 Duck Hunt Spins with Upgraded xWays active, replacing regular xWays with Infectious xWays.

Bomb Juicer Spins – 2,800x stake: Awards 7 Duck Hunt Spins with Upgraded Bomb active, allowing Bombs to clear symbols above and below their positions.

For our UK-facing review, I would finish with the same clear compliance point we used for Nugget Ridge:

❌  The Bonus purchases are not available to UK players.

Nolimit Side Hustle

Side Hustle is exclusive to Nolimit and allows an additional wager to be placed on a specific outcome occurring during the next round. Several Side Hustles can be active on the same spin.

Max Multiplier – 0.3x stake: Pays 493.75x if at least one grid position reaches the maximum 16,384x multiplier.

Kill – 2x stake: Removes one selected high-paying character from the round. The payout depends on the chosen character, ranging from 17.7x to 32.85x.

Double Bonus – 2x stake: Pays 25.5x if exactly two Bonus symbols appear during the round.

Dead Spin – 13x stake: Pays 13.95x if the round ends without a win

Duck Hunters 2 Verdict

Duck Hunters 2 is bigger than its predecessor, although not necessarily better in every respect. Nolimit City has doubled the maximum position multiplier from 8,192x to 16,384x, while the max win has increased more modestly from 30,000x to 40,000x the stake.

Duck Hunters 2 is at its most convincing when Nolimit City builds on the original rather than simply making everything bigger. Cascades give the position multipliers room to develop, while Bombs and xWays manipulate the grid in ways that complement rather than distract from that central idea. The Free Spins develop the idea further, with each bonus tier awarding more starting spins and upgrades while retaining the mechanics established in the base game.

Where Duck Hunters 2 becomes less convincing is the sheer volume of extras surrounding those features. xTra Spin, Side Hustle, Boosters and numerous bonus options leave little room for restraint, even by Nolimit City’s standards. Although many of the above are optional, some are not available in the UK, but the volume of additional modes can obscure a strong set of features.

The sequel improves on the original in several areas, especially the position multipliers, bonus upgrades, and a more aggressive presentation. Yet its best moments come from developing ideas Duck Hunters already had, rather than piling more on top.

Duck Hunters 2 doesn’t need all its additional firepower to justify the sequel. The increasing multiplier mechanics and expanded Free Spins already do that.
