Gator Hunters 2 is a video slot developed by Nolimit City and released on 6 October 2026. The swamp is occupied by a thoroughly reckless group of alligator hunters, armed with enough firepower to suggest they’ve learned nothing from their last encounter.

The sequel follows the recent release of Duck Hunters 2, as Nolimit City revisits another member of its increasingly unruly Hunters collection. Familiar elements from Gator Hunters remain, including the progressive multiplier, Eaters and Revolvers, but the swamp has become considerably more dangerous.

A new Fire Zone covers part of the grid on every spin and upgrades special symbols landing inside it. Revolvers have received substantially more firepower too, with multiplier bullets reaching 3,000x. Super Eaters, multiplier Wilds and Super Bonus symbols add further possibilities, with a maximum win of 30,000x the bet.

Technical Details

Gator Hunters 2 features a 6×5 grid, with a Scatter Pays system. Wins are formed when 8 or more matching symbols appear anywhere on the reels.

Bets range from 20p to £100 per spin. However, due to strict UK regulations, slot stakes are capped at £5 for those aged 25 and over and £2 for those aged 18 to 24.

Nolimit City set the RTP at 96%, which is average for online slots. High volatility means the overall experience is geared towards less frequent, but potentially more profitable payouts, topping out at 30,000x the bet.

Gator Hunters 2 Design

Gator Hunters 2 returns to the murky backwaters of the American South, and Nolimit City has made little effort to improve the neighbourhood. A battered trailer sits beside the reels, palm trees disappear into the haze, and barbed wire is intertwined across a chain-link fence. It is hot, scruffy and probably best explored with your tetanus vaccinations up to date.

The 6×5 grid occupies most of the screen, with the current win and multiplier displayed on weather-beaten panels above. The battered metalwork and fencing extend across the interface, tying the reels neatly into the surrounding swamp.

The atmosphere becomes considerably darker once the bonus triggers. Blue skies become a murky purple haze, while the swamp retreats into shadow and abandoned buildings look less welcoming. Flames now lick around the Revolver, completing the transformation from shabby backwater to something more sinister.

Nolimit City has retained the rough, illustrated appearance of the original rather than cleaning everything up for the sequel. It suits Gator Hunters 2 perfectly. This is supposed to be an unpleasant corner of the swamp occupied by some deeply questionable people, and the artwork makes sure nobody mistakes it for the Florida tourist board.

Symbols

The lower-paying symbols include a crushed drink can, slippers, severed arm, cooking pot and bundle of fireworks, nice eh! Landing 14 or more matching symbols pays between 5x and 9x the bet.

Four hunters occupy the premium positions. Landing 14 or more matching symbols award between 20x and 60x the bet.

Special symbols include Eaters, Wilds, Revolvers and Bonus symbols. Eaters are the alligators and transform into Wilds, while Revolvers deliver multipliers. The yellow warning sign serves as the Bonus symbol and triggers the Free Spins.

Gator Hunters 2 Features

If you are familiar with Nolimit City slots, they are rarely short on features, and Gator Hunters 2 does not disappoint. Scatter Wins provide the foundation, followed by Fire Zones, Eater symbols, Revolvers, two Free Spins modes, xTra Spins, Boosters, Feature Buys and Side Hustle.

Scatter Wins

Gator Hunters 2 does away with traditional paylines in favour of Scatter Wins. Landing 8 or more matching symbols anywhere on the 6×5 grid creates a win, regardless of their positions.

Winning symbols are then removed from the reels and replaced by new ones, creating the opportunity for consecutive wins from a single spin.

Fire Zones

A Fire Zone is randomly positioned on the grid at the beginning of every spin, covering an area of 2×2, 3×3, 4×4 or 5×6. Special symbols landing within its borders receive an upgrade:

Wilds – receive a random 2x, 3x or 10x multiplier.

Eaters – upgrade to Super Eaters.

Bonus symbols – upgrade to Super Bonus symbols.

Revolvers – receive higher-value multiplier bullets.

The size and position of the Fire Zone changes on each spin, so the number of reel positions affected varies each time.

Eater Symbols

After a spin, if there are no winning combinations, an Eater removes a random number of symbols and all their instances from the grid. New symbols then drop into the empty positions, and the Eater transforms into a Wild.

If the Eater lands inside the Fire Zone, it upgrades to a Super Eater. Once active the Super Eater transforms into a multiplier Wild worth 2x, 3x or 10x.

Revolver Symbols

Revolvers trigger when no Eaters are left, and the cascades have ended. Each Revolver contains coloured multiplier bullets and empty chambers.

When the cylinder spins and lands on a bullet, its value is added to the total on the Multiplier Meter. All wins are multiplied by the current value shown on the meter. Bullet multipliers range from 2x to 3,000x.

There are three types of Revolvers:

Normal Revolver – Spins once and awards a bullet value to or a blank.

Super Revolver – Spins again after every successful bullet, allowing several multipliers to be collected from the same Revolver.

Super Fire Revolver – If a bullet is awarded on the first spin all Revolvers on the grid to spin again.

Up to six Revolvers can land during a single spin, so several could contribute to the Multiplier Meter before the sequence ends.

Gatornado Spins

Landing 3 Bonus symbols in the base game triggers 7 Gatornado Spins. During the feature, each Bonus symbol awards 1 extra spin and each Super Bonus symbol awards 2 extra spins.

Any Revolver upgraded by the Fire Zone awards all of its remaining bullets before the next spin begins. The total Multiplier Meter remains in place throughout the bonus and applies to wins on any spin where at least one Revolver activates a bullet.

Fire Gatornado Spins

Landing 4 Bonus symbols in the base game triggers 9 Fire Gatornado Spins. The Fire Zone is guaranteed to cover a 4×4 or 5×6 area, and every Revolver is a Super Fire Revolver.

During the feature, landing an additional Bonus symbol awards 1 extra spin, and landing a Super Bonus symbol awards 2 extra spins.

xTra Spin

When a round ends, xTra Spin can trigger, giving you the chance to purchase one additional spin. The current Multiplier Meter and Revolvers containing unused bullets are carried into the extra spin.

The cost depends on the accumulated multiplier and the bullets remaining in the Revolvers.

Nolimit Boosters

Gator Hunters 2 features four Nolimit Boosters:

Bonus Booster (3x bet) – Guarantees a Bonus symbol on reel 2.

Kill Spin (8x bet) – Guarantees at least one Revolver. Every Revolver landing during the spin contains bullets worth 10x or more.

Overkill Spin (50x bet) – Guarantees a Super Revolver. All Revolvers landing during the spin are either Super or Super Fire versions, loaded with bullets worth at least 50x.

Massacre Spin (1,400x bet) – Guarantees a Super Fire Revolver. Every Revolver landing during the spin is a Super Fire version, containing only bullets worth 1,000x or more.

NoLimit Boosters are not available in the UK.

Feature Buy

There are three Feature Buy options available in Gator Hunters 2:

Gatornado Spins (90x bet) – Guarantees 7 Gatornado Spins.

Fire Gatornado Spins (300x bet) – Guarantees 9 Fire Gatornado Spins.

Bullet Juicer Spins (390x bet) – Awards 7 spins with fully loaded Revolvers.

Feature Buys are not available in the UK.

Gator Hunters 2 Verdict

Nolimit City has delivered a worthy sequel to Gator Hunters, retaining the original’s wonderfully questionable characters and chaotic atmosphere. The artwork is excellent, the humour is as dark as ever, and the swamp remains a place no sensible person would willingly visit.

More importantly, Gator Hunters 2 improves on its predecessor where it matters. The Fire Zone introduces a layer of unpredictability, and the upgraded Revolvers heighten the anticipation further. There is plenty going on here, but the mechanics complement one another perfectly

The statistics tell a slightly different story. The maximum win has increased from 25,000x to 30,000x, and the hit frequency has improved from 17.23% to 18.28%. Bonus rounds are more frequent too, improving from approximately 1 in 236 spins to 1 in 205. However, RTP has slipped from 96.11% to 96%, making the maximum win marginally harder to achieve. Extreme volatility remains part of the deal, and the swamp can be an unforgiving place when searching for the bigger wins.

Gator Hunters 2 is a stronger sequel, with greater ambition, more potential and enough new ideas to justify another trip into the swamp. Nolimit City has taken one of its more entertaining releases and pushed the concept further, rather than dressing up the original for a second outing. The hunters remain hopelessly out of their depth, but Gator Hunters 2 is anything but.
