Soaked by Seamen is a video slot developed by Nolimit City, released on 23rd June 2026. If you thought the Seamen crew had learned their lesson, think again. After washing ashore from their last disastrous voyage, Nolimit City’s favourite band of hapless sailors land on a tropical island where the booze is flowing, and the innuendos come thick and fast. The scenery has changed, but the crew clearly hasn’t.

Those expecting ‘Seamen 2.0′ are in for a surprise. NoLimit City has expanded the formula with new mechanics and more ways to build position multipliers, yet still manages to squeeze in even more double entendres. I’d go one step further and say it’s even more outrageous than the original.

Design

The tropical island theme marks a complete change from the original, although the sailor’s luck hasn’t improved. Surrounded by turquoise waters, rocky cliffs, and golden beaches, the shipwrecked sailors have somehow cobbled together a makeshift grid from the remains of their vessel. Seaweed clings to the battered frame, and weathered timber replaces the once polished metal. Every detail reinforces the idea that these hopeless castaways have settled into island life rather than searching for a way home. The bright, tropical setting provides the perfect backdrop for the crazy, tongue-in-cheek humour that follows.

Symbols

Landing three or four matching symbols on adjacent reels, starting from the left, creates a winning combination. The lower-paying symbols are the card values from 10 through to Ace, paying 0.05x the stake for four of a kind. Premium symbols include a palm tree, a frog, a tribal mask, an island woman, and a snake. Four matching premium symbols award between 0.15x and 0.4x the stake.

The Banana Wild substitutes for regular symbols to help complete winning combinations. The Skull is the Bonus symbol, while xWays, Lucky Lighters, Coconut Bombs and Blowfish Bombs complete the special symbol collection.

Win Respins

After landing a win, a Win Respin is awarded. The winning symbols are removed, and each of their positions receives a +1 multiplier. New symbols then fall into the empty spaces for another chance to create a win. Every additional winning combination awards another Respin, repeats the process, and adds one extra Fire Frame to the reels.

Fire Frames

Before every spin, fire frames are added to random positions. Every position that gets a Fire Frame receives a 1+ multiplier increase. When a winning symbol lands on a Fire Frame, its position multiplier increases by +2.

xWays

All xWays symbols that land on the same spin transform into a single matching regular symbol. Each xWays symbol then reveals between two and four instances of the same symbol, increasing the number of ways to win.

Lucky Lighter

When a Lucky Lighter lands, it reveals a regular paying symbol. Every matching symbol visible on the reels receives a Fire Frame, and its multiplier increases by +1.

Banana Wild

Bananas are Wild symbols that land in any position and display a value between 1 and 3. The number reveals how many Respins remain before the Banana expands across the entire reel.

Bombs

Bombs only explode after the final Respin has finished. Any symbols they remove increase the position multiplier by +1, or +2 if the position contains a Fire Frame. There are two types of Bomb:

Coconut: Removes itself and boosts its own position multiplier by 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x or 100x, before the standard increase is applied.

Blowfish: Removes itself and every adjacent regular symbol. It will not explode if a Coconut is present on the reels.

Rigged Spins

Landing three Bonus symbols awards five Rigged Spins. Position multipliers are kept during the Free Spins. Each winning combination awards +1 Rigged Spin.

Super Rigged Spins

Landing four Bonus symbols awards 8 Super Rigged Spins. Additional Fire Frames are generated per spin, increasing the number of positions and multipliers. Each additional bonus symbol landing during the features awards +1 Super Rigged Spin.

XtRA

At the end of a round, players may be offered the chance to buy one extra spin without resetting their current progress. Position multipliers and Fire Frames remain in place, giving the next spin an opportunity to build on the existing setup.

Nolimit Booster

The Nolimit Booster menu offers several optional spin modifiers, each available at a different cost:

Verdict

NoLimit City could easily have recycled Seamen with a tropical backdrop and called it a sequel. Fortunately, that’s not the case. The humour in Soaked by Seamen is every bit as outrageous, while the new mechanics add more variety. Side Hustle is one of the more inventive additions we’ve seen for some time, and it works. High volatility and a four-reel layout won’t suit everyone, and those who disliked the original won’t change their minds here. For everyone else, this sequel improves on the original without losing the slapstick humour that made it so memorable.
