Microgaming have made their name by creating a plethora of not only top-quality, but also widely varying slots.
There are very few themes and styles that Microgaming have not covered yet, making every game feel different from those that came before it, the same is positively true of Diamond Empire.
About the slot
A three-reel, 15 payline slot playable from 15p to £15 a spin, Diamond Empire is not one for the high rollers, but it combines a simple set-up with an elegant and enticing theme to create a great option for those who prefer to spin with smaller denominations.
A swing soundtrack and an Art Nouveau theme makes this slot feel cultured and classy from the start, and that tone continues.
Diamonds, bonus symbols, and blank symbols appear on the reels, with an impressive Art Nouveau painting in the background.
The design may be simple here, but it’s also eye-catching and stunningly designed, something that Microgaming have proven a skill for before, but have perhaps never executed this well.
Gameplay
The wild symbol is important here, not only will it help with winning combinations, but if it does, you’ll get double your win (quadruple if you land two wilds as part of a win).
The wild can also land stacked, offering a maximum of 650x your stake on every spin.
Outside of the wild feature, there is only one other feature of note, the Wheel Bonus feature but it’s a good one. Trigger this feature, and you get a spin of a bonus wheel which offers a prize that goes up to a possible 888x your total stake, which is nothing to be sniffed at!
There’s no Free Spins feature, which is likely to be disappointing to some, but Diamond Empire more than makes up for that with it’s stylish look and fun features.
