The Sun Play has been rebooted for 2024 under the operation of Jumpman Gaming. This company is well-known in the industry and operates several bingo and soft slot sites. The Sun Play was originally launched back in 2017 and operated by Nektan, who then disappeared. So here we are.

Surprising us does not appear to be the intention of The Sun Play, which has the exact same navigational tools that all other Jumpman casinos do. These tools are good but barely original when you consider the multitude of sites that The Sun Play shares this look with.

Outside of that, the design is very much in keeping with The Sun brand, with a red, white and purple colour scheme and a top banner that looks much like a tabloid newspaper.

If The Sun Play wanted to stand out as an online casino and not just a pale effort by a company from another industry, then their execution was well off because this site is nothing new.

You can't argue that the licensing and security at The Sun Play are indeed on point, but we just can't help feeling a little underwhelmed. This casino's relaunch really could have been something good, but they've gone for the easiest option and created a cookie-cutter brand.
