Have you been waiting with baited breath for the day that an online casino would finally arrive that combined your love of casino games and safari animals? No, the truth is, you probably haven’t been, but just because you didn’t know you wanted something, doesn’t mean you didn’t, and Slots Zoo has arrived on the scene, fresh for 2017, combining those two exact things with aplomb!

 

As most players and all sites know, it’s not easy being a new online casino in this highly competitive market, and it takes a great deal of work for sites to even get noticed, unless they find a way to instantly grab the attention of the online casino playing audience, and even then there’s no guarantee that the site will keep that attention for a long period.

Design and theme

 

This is simply a great looking site, cartoon styled characters from squirrels (something you’re unlike to find in a zoo or on a safari, but it’s cute so we’ll forgive that) to antelope and giraffe, combine with a stunning sketched backdrop with trees, savannah, and snow-capped mountains in the background, to create a really lovely look here.

 

A lot of online casinos take themselves very seriously these days, and that’s fine, there’s definitely an audience for that kind of style, but at the same time, there are a lot of players who are mainly looking to have fun and enjoy playing games, and it is this audience that Slots Zoo is clearly aiming for.

 

An entertaining site with a host of fun animations and images, and a collection of exciting promotions, Slots Zoo appears to be keen on bringing the fun back to the world of online casinos, and with its great style and simple navigation, it’s doing an excellent job of it!

Remember that bit about no weak links? The selection of games on offer at Slots Zoo is something of a weak link. That isn’t to say it’s bad, with titles coming from a small but varied group of software developers, BetSoft, BG, Booongo, GameART, GameScale, NetEnt, and Playson, there’s a lot on offer here, but when you hold this up against the other aspects of the site, it doesn’t impress as much.

 

Games from a few more providers, big names like IGT, Microgaming, and NextGen, would do a lot to help the collection here, but as it is, it just isn’t quite good enough to stand up against the big guns.

 

There’s fun games to be found here, and some that you may not have come across before due to the use of a few up and coming and lesser known developers, but it’s not enough, and leaves Slots Zoo floundering a little in comparison to other sites. This is a problem that is easily rectifiable though, Slots Zoo is a new site, and one hopes it has a bunch more games coming soon, if that happens, then this could be one of the sites of the year!
