The Million Pound Goal

The Euro 2016 football Championship is in full swing, making it the perfect time for the release of The Million Pound Goal by Realistic. There are a few creative elements to this game, including the lack of Wilds or Bonus symbols. But never fear – there is an interactive bonus game instead, that seems to trigger relatively often, and offers the chance for some tidy pay outs.

Games

The Million Pound Goal is a 5-reel, 3-row slot that offers 10 fixed pay lines. In an innovative departure from standard pay line structures, winning combos in the game are formed by matching at least 3 symbols on a pay line anywhere on the reels – not just left-to-right or vice-versa. Game play is smooth, and there is a perfectly respectable RTP of 95.15%. It’s a simple game, offering easy slot fun on a footie theme, with very attractive visuals.

Design

The reels are set within the frame of a goal post atop a straight mown and manicured green pitch with the dark shapes of a crowd in the background. The reel symbols include a glittering array of coloured gemstones in blue, red, purple, and diamond white, and a range of football related images in the form of a referees whistle, a silver cup, football boots and a ball. The graphics are crystal clear and sharp, with stunning contrast, and some quirky sound effects keep the tone light and fun.

Bonuses and Features

Bonus Feature – all symbols on the reels can appear stacked, and when reels 1-5 all show stacked symbols simultaneously the feature triggers. Each reel then flashes, and players can click to stop it on their reel of choice, or wait for it to finish and stop on a random reel – when done 1, 2, or 3 symbols on all other reels will transform to match the reel that was selected
