About
The Great Archer is a medium variance video slot with an RTP of 96.81%. The game is played across 5 reels with 1,024 ways to win and bet ranges from 40p up to £40 per spin across all devices.
The game has a mythological theme based around an Archer called Hou Yi, where legend recalls him shooting down 9 suns and saving the world. The game takes place in a lush green valley with grassland scattered with huge stones.
The reels are encased in a wooden frame and filled with symbols including 9-A royals, a target, dark pearl in a purple box, green cobras, bow and arrow and Hou Yi who is the highest paying of the symbols and appears stacked, he will award you 3.75x your stake for 5.
The Wild is the sun and only appears on reels 2, 3 and 4, it will substitute for all symbols except the black crow Scatter.
Gameplay and Features
You need 2 or more matching symbols on adjacent reels to find a win.
The Free Spins feature is triggered when 3, 4 or 5 Scatters appear from the same spin and gives you 8, 15 and 20 free spins as well as up to 10x your stake. If 2, 3, 4 or 5 Scatters land during the feature, you will be awarded another 5, 8, 15 or 20 free spins and there are no limits here. If Wilds appear during the feature and are part of a win, will have a 2 or 3x multiplier added.
The Great Archer has superb graphics and the features are interesting, I enjoyed playing and found that matching symbols came often. You can see wins of up to 3,840x your stake.
