Templar Tumble Design
Visually, this is an excellent design with super-crisp HD graphics and detail both on the reels and the background. The 6×7 reels are set within the large gothic arches of a Cathedral type building, with ivy growing up the stone statues either side and bright blue skies in the background.
Symbols consist of various gems as the lower values, along with heraldic emblems, a tree of life, the Templar red cross and a knights helmet. The latter has the highest value, paying 2x your stake for 6 on a payline. The wild can substitute any other symbol to help you form winning combinations.
Gameplay and Features
Central to the game is the tumble feature, whereby every time you land a win, the winning symbols are removed and new symbols tumble in to place In the hope of forming more wins.
If wilds land between the 2nd and 6th reels, they turn into mystery symbols and stay in place until you don’t land a win. When this happens, they either all turn into the same symbol to pay out that value, or all transform into coins worth from 1x up to 1000x your stake.
If you manage to unlock all the blocked symbols, this activates the free spins. You start with 6 free spins and play on a full 6×7 grid. If you land a wild here, 3 to 6 symbols turn into mystery symbols or coins to increase your winnings.
Verdict
This is a beautifully designed slot with some nice features. The mystery symbols and coins really enhance the gameplay, but the downside is that the top prize is on the low side which may put off players.
