If you’re looking for a festive slot with all the retro styling you can shake a stick at, then look no further than Santa’s Stack from Relax Gaming. This slot uses the clusterpays mechanic and is set on an 8×8 grid with pixelated 8-bit graphics.
Bets start at 10p and spin and rise to £50 a spin and the maximum prize from a single spin is 20,000x your stake. Santa’s Stack features mystery symbols, stacked symbols, wilds, scatters and free spin and has been optimised for play on all devices.
Santa’s Stack Design
Fans of retro-style slots will love the design of Santa’s Stack with its pixel art graphics and soundtrack to match. The reels are set against a town square at Christmas time with snow on the ground and street-lights lighting up the scenery.
Symbols are lower value green, red and blue lights which pay from 750x to 1250x for a cluster, and higher value symbols including Santa, Rudolph, an elf and Santa’s wife. These pay from 2000x to 10000x your stake. There is also a wild W symbol and a Christmas tree scatter.
Gameplay and Features
Wins are made by forming clusters of symbols rather than via paylines. The wild can substitute regular symbols to form wins and when they do, the Secret Santa respin takes place. All of the winning symbols transform into a mystery symbols before the respin. If you win again, the process repeats.
To trigger the free spins round, you need at least 3 scatter symbols. 3 scatters awards 5 free spins and each additional scatter that landed gives you an extra free spin. Not only is the Secret Santa respins active during the free spins round, but when you land a scatter, you will receive either a 1x multiplier, an extra free spin or a free spin with a 1x multiplier.
Verdict
Santa’s Stack bring back all those nostalgic feelings with its design, and the gameplay is simple yet still engaging. There are some big prizes to be won with plenty of chances to wni big, especially in the free spins round.
