Sahara Riches Cash Collect

Head to the heat of the desert with the April 2021 slot release from Playtech, Sahara Riches Cash Collect. It features the cash collect mechanic, scatters, wilds, free spins, respins and bonus symbols and is available to play on all devices. The RTP is set at 95.67% and it’s a medium volatility game. Bets start at 10p a spin and rise to £500 a spin, so high rollers might be interested in this!

Sahara Riches Cash Collect Design

The reels are set within the golden sands of the Sahara Desert, with lush blue skies above and a palace in the distance. The graphics are clear and bold, and the pallet of bright colours makes for a striking design.

Symbols on the 5×3 reels are the lower value royals, with a dagger, a sand-timer, an emerald camel, a pink bottle and a treasure chest. The treasure chest is the most valuable, paying 6x your stake for 5 on a payline. There is also a woman with a veil who acts as the wild and a cash collect symbol which is key to gameplay.

Gameplay and Features

There are gold coins which can land on the reels and have cash values attached to them. When these land and a cash collect symbol lands on the 5^th reel, the coin values are collected up and added to your winnings.

If the cash collect symbol lands with +2 or +3 type of number alongside, the free spins round is triggered, giving you the same amount of spins as the numbers add up to. In this case, the +2 and +3 would give you 5 free spins.

During the free spins, if a cash collect lands, it remains in position for the next 3 free spins to increase your chances of either winning cash or triggering more free spins.

There are also 4 jackpots to be won when you land the cash collect symbol at the same time as a diamond symbol. The mini jackpot is 20x your stake, the minor jackpot is worth 50x your stake, the major jackpot is worth 200x your stake and the grand jackpot is worth 500x your stake.

Verdict

This might not be the most exciting design or theme, but there is plenty of action to make up for that, especially with the free spins and cash collect symbols. The addition of the jackpots also increases its attraction, but the 500x maximum payout is a little disappointing.
