Rock the Reels Megaways

Bring out your inner rock God and Goddess with the rockin’ new slot from Iron Dog Studios. Rock the Reels Megaways is played on a 6×7 grid with 117649 betways and is a highly volatile slot. It has an RTP just above average at 96.2%, a betting range between 10p and £50 and a top prize worth an impressive 50,000x your stake.

Rock the Reels Megaways Design

We are at a rock concert where the band members are made up of animals. The lighting rig is lit up all around the sides and top and the crystal-clear graphics are accompanied by a rocking soundtrack as you’d expect.

The reels consist of 10 to A royals in a rock-style font, a tambourine, PA desk, speakers, records and a plectrum. The record is the most valuable, paying 15x your stake for 6 on a payline.

Along the horizontal reel are the band members who each bring a modifier. There is Dirty Axel the warthog, Ozzy Eight the octopus, Freddie Roar the lion, Treble the flamingo and Roxy Renegade the lead singer who appears at the side. There are 2 wilds, one is the spotlights and the other the microphone (which comes with a multiplier). The guitar is the scatter.

Gameplay and Features

Each win results in winning symbols dropping from the reels and being replaced. This will repeat for each win, known as the cascading reels feature.

The band member on the top reel deliver a modifier when they land. Axel the warthog changes up to 4 symbols into wilds and hopefully you’ll form a win. Ozzy the octopus transforms up to 4 symbols into one of the symbols already present on the first reel. Treble the flamingo changes up to 4 symbols into the highest value symbol and when Freddie the lion lands, he drops 2 multiplier wilds worth 2x on the 2^nd and 3rd reels.

At least 3 scatters trigger the free spins round giving you 8, 10, 15 or 25 free spins depending on how many scatters landed. The band member modifiers can be in play and you can also re-trigger this feature with no limits.

Verdict

This is a great theme with an excellent design, impressive top prize and some nice megaways action thrown into the mix. The soundtrack is great especially if you love rock and there’s a nice selection of features too.
