About Solar Nova

The design is very similar to many space-themed slots with an outer space game area with stars and a bright pink planet in the distance. On the reels are 7 gems of different shape and colours awarding 10x-80x the bet for clusters of 25 or more. There are also two wild symbols which I explain later.
Gameplay
A winning cluster of 6 or more matching symbols triggers the tumble feature. The symbols involved are removed and replaced by new symbols. The tumbles continue until no more winning combinations occur.
The Solar Wild is fixed in the centre of the grid and helps to create winning combinations. After a non-winning spin, the Solar Wild randomly releases a Solar Flare which transforms symbols within any of the 4 centre rows into matching symbols.
The Rocket Wild substitutes all regular symbols, and if part of a winning cluster moves to an adjacent position and stays in position for the tumble. Rocket Wilds have a multiplier attached, and these increase by 1x for each win formed with the rocket wild.
The Symbol Teleportation feature activates randomly and when it does the rocket wild swaps places with a regular pay symbol increasing the chances of forming a win.
Landing 3 Rocket wilds awards 6 free spins. The wilds become sticky, and the increasing multipliers are present. If a Solar Wild forms part of 8 winning tumbles the Solar Nova feature activates transforming it into a 3×3 symbol for one tumble.

Verdict
Solar Nova delivers a cosmic experience and is a great game to play. It may only have basic features, but it will appeal to those who enjoy the cluster pays mechanic. Although simple in gameplay, there are sizeable rewards up for grabs and a potential top prize of 10,000x.
