Feast your eyes on another classic style video slot from 1×2 gaming, called Reel Diamonds. It’s been classed as a medium variance game with an RTP of bang on 96%. Betting begins at 10p a spin and rises to £50 a spin. There are wilds, scatters and expanding symbols featuring throughout and it’s available to play on any device.
Reel Diamonds Design
This is a classic 5×3 reel design using traditional slot machine symbols which has a blue background with diamonds scattered around. Graphics are sharp and glossy and there is a moody soundtrack to accompany the action. You can turn this off if you want though. It’s a classic design done nicely.
Gameplay and Features
The traditional symbols include oranges, lemons, plums and cherries, which pay 10x your stake for 5 on a payline. They’re joined with higher value grapes and melons which pay 50x your stake for 5 on a payline. The highest value symbol is the Lucky 7s paying 500x your stake for 5 on a payline and the diamond is the wild which activates the bonus feature.
There are 2 scatters, a gold star and silver star which pay out from 10x to 50x your stake when you land 3 on a single spin.
Gameplay is fairly simple and centres on the expanding diamond wild symbol. These can substitute any other symbol and when they land, the expand to fill the full row in order to increase your chances of winning.
Verdict
Reel Diamonds is a classic design, with classic gameplay, done very nicely. It’s not the most exciting and not the most innovative, but the classic style never really are. The silver and gold scatters add a little extra to the mix and the expanding wilds give you a decent chance of landing wins. The RTP is bang on average but the only downside is there’s no bonus game. All in all a decent effort.
