Fields of Clover

Another Irish themed slot is up for review today as 1×2 Gaming release Fields of Clover, a 5×3 slot with an RTP of 96%. Fields of Clover is a medium to high volatility game with respins, wilds, sticky wilds and multipliers featuring throughout. You can play from 10p a spin up to £100 per spin, with a top jackpot prize of 3000x your stake.

Fields of Clover Design

As you’d expect, the main theme is green and gold as with most Irish themed slots. The background is a simple green with Celtic boarders at the top and bottom, and the reels are gold framed with clear, bold symbols. There is also a jolly penny whistle theme tune to accompany the game.

The symbols are made up of 5 different 4 leaf clovers which are all of a lower value, and they’re joined by an emerald, a harp and a pot of gold. The emerald is the highest value, paying up to 25x your stake for 5 and the pot of gold is the wild, acting as a substitute and triggering the respins.

Gameplay and Features

Fields of Clover is a really simple game to play with just one main feature which centres on the wilds and respins.

When the pot of gold wild lands, the whole reel will turn wild and you’ll receive a respin to increase your chances of winning. If another wild then lands, another respin takes place with 2 stacked wilds on the reels. You’ll also receive a 2x multiplier. If on the second respin you land another wild, a third reel will become fully wild and a 3x multiplier is applied to any winnings.

Verdict

If you’re looking for a simple game that looks great and can deliver some nice prizes, Fields of Clover is just that. But for players who are looking for more action, more features and variety, it might be too simple and basic.
