About
Racing Lovers is a 5 reel, 20 payline video slot, playable across all devices from 20p to £100 per spin. The game comes with colourful graphics and an orchestral soundtrack which escalates during wins.
Racing Lovers is set within the grounds of a racecourse with crowded stands to the left of the screen and green grass verges to the right. The transparent reels are filled with charming, brightly coloured symbols, they include card suit icons of hearts, clubs, diamonds and spades. There’s also 4 harnessed horses, their racers are wearing, green, blue, purple and red shirts.
The wild is a golden horse medallion, this will substitute for all other symbols except the scatter which is a prettily decorated horse with Free Spins written across it.
Gameplay
Before you start the game, you must decide whether to activate the Golden Bet, this option can be switched on and off during the base game. If you choose to have it on, you pay an extra 25% and are given an extra pick from the 18 enhancers in the Free Spins.
Modifiers are increased from:
3 to 4 for 3 scatter triggers
4 to 5 for 4 scatter triggers
5 to 6 for 5 scatter triggers
Finding 3 to 5 scatters on the reels will trigger the Free Spins feature where the screen will change and show 18 racing helmets, each cover a feature for the bonus round. You are given 6, 8 or 10 Free Spins and 3, 4 or 5 picks as well as an extra pick if the Golden Bet was selected. You are able to pick a maximum of 6 out of the 18 but some may appear twice, the picks are:
2 or 4 extra spins
1 or 2 random Wilds on every spin
1 sticky Wild is added to the middle of reel, 2, 3 or 4
jockey symbols can turn wild
jockey symbols can become stacked
1 Troll symbol changes into a 2×2 colossal symbol for the feature
A 2x multiplier is added to all wins during the feature
A lower valued symbol changes into a higher valued symbol of the same colour
Racing Lovers is quite a simple and enjoyable slot to play, we liked the colourful graphics, and the soundtrack fits the theme perfectly. The game doesn’t have many features, but the modifiers are pretty good. With the Golden Bet and the Free Spins, you could see your self winning up to 2,500x your stake.
