Following the Platoon slot, that was based on the 1986 movie, iSoftBet have released their second slot based on the Oliver Stone classic.

This one is called Platoon Wild, it has five-reels and 20 paylines, and is playable from 20p to £10 a spin on all compatible desktop, mobile, and tablet devices.

Appearance

This slot, somewhat unsurprisingly, has a very military feel about it. Characters from the film including King (Keith David), Sgt Barnes (Tom Berenger), Sgt Elias (Willem Defoe), and Chris Taylor (Charlie Sheen) play the parts of symbols here.

This game is not for those who appreciate subtle within a design theme, with explosions in the background, as well as helicopter blades and the metal Platoon logo taking pride of place at the top of the reels.

Gameplay

The game challenges you to “join your squad and complete the mission to uncover and release the real prisoners of war, our allies, the WILD and FREE SPINS symbols”, and that’s exactly what you have to do.

There are two main features here to assist you in your efforts. Firstly, land three free spins symbols anywhere on the reels to trigger (go figure) the free spins round.

This feature offers you eight free spins with a 2x multiplier on everything except for the jackpot, so there’s some nice wins to be found here.
