Apes of Wrath has a beautiful yet tranquil design, despite the name. It’s set in the dense rainforest with trees, lush greenery, a pond with lily pads, and shards of golden light streaming through. There is a jungle style, drum heavy soundtrack to match the theme, and overall it’s a nice, solid design.
10 to A royals make up the lower value symbols and these are joined by a monkey, a crocodile, a bird, a lemur and an ape. The ape is worth the most, paying 20x your stake for 5 on a payline.
Gameplay and Features
The wild is central to game and these derive from the ape symbols. These can spin when stacked and fill the reels. If you land 3 sets of stacked apes, the Wild Ape respins feature activates. You’ll receive 3 respins which are played on 4 reels rather than 3. During this round, any apes that land become wild and can replace any other symbol to form wins.
If you land the bonus symbol on the 1st, 3rd or 5th reels, you’ll activate the free spins round.
