Yes this is technically an Egyptian themed slot, but it is based on the God of the Moon, and in true Playtech style, it’s been designed exceptionally well. The graphics are truly stunning with pyramids and tall monuments in the background, and large sphynx statues either side of the reels. There is detail in everything, and it’s all topped off with an Egyptian themed soundtrack.

10 to A royals make up the standard symbols and they’re joined by an ankh cross, Bastet the Cat Goddess, the eye of Ra and a scarab beetle. The scarab beetle is worth the most and 5 in a combination will pay 6x your stake. The wild is the Khonsu symbol and this can substitute any other to form wins.

Gameplay and Design

This slot focuses on the Mega Fire Blaze feature which activates when you land at least 6 moon symbols. The moons have a star and cash value and they lock in place while 3 respins occur. If you also collect at least 2 keys which can appear on the moons, this unlocks an additional row and brings multipliers into play. You can open an extra 9 rows and get up to a 10x multiplier with the right combination.

When you collect the stars, these can unlock either the mini, minor, major or grand jackpots, which start from 20x your stake and rise to 200x your stake.

At least 3 scatters trigger the free spins round and if you land wilds or moons on the 2^nd, 3^rd or 4^th reels, these expand to fill the whole reel. You can retrigger the free spins by landing more scatters.

Verdict

This ticks all the boxes in terms of both design and gameplay. Not to be dismissed as yet another Egyptian themed slot, it’s really impressive and worth checking out.
