Jaws of Justice is a video slot developed by Hacksaw Gaming, released on 11 December 2025. Players are transported to a toxic planet ruled by armour-clad predators with laser tech. The slot is built on a 5×4 grid with 14 paylines. It is highly volatile with an RTP of 96.20% and a max win of 10,000x. The slot focuses on the Laser Shark symbol, which fires beams to create wilds and multiplier wilds. As lasers interact with Force Fields, do you have the nerve to face off armoured predators in the cosmos?

Design & Symbols

The slot is set in a sci-fi cosmos built with Hacksaw Gaming’s signature graphic precision. The backdrop blends fractured planets, swirling storms, and a vibrant cosmic colour palette, creating a high-impact stage for predator action. The artwork is bold and saturated, with heavy outlines and metallic detailing that push each character into full comic-book intensity. Hacksaw’s illustrators have gone all-in with striking artwork with saturated highlights that cut through the darker canvas, lifting every symbol and adding clarity to the chaos.

The reels feature the low-value 10, J, Q, K, and A symbols. Landing five matching symbols awards 2x the bet. The high values are the armoured predators: a Rhino, Crocodile, Tiger, T. rex, and Shark. Landing five-of-a-kind awards between 5x and 10x the bet, with the Shark symbol holding the top position. There is also a Wild, Scatter and the star of the show, the Laser Shark symbol.

Technical Features

Jaws of Justice is a video slot from Hacksaw Gaming with five reels, four rows, and 14 fixed paylines. Bets range from 10p up to £100 per spin, so suitable for all budgets. The RTP of 96.20% and medium–high volatility reward a max win of 10,000x the bet.

Jaws of Justice Features

Jaws of Justice goes all-in on features, loading the game with several moving parts that shift the grid in dramatic ways. The key mechanics are the Wild symbol, the Laser Shark symbol, the Force Fields, the Killer Cosmos Spins, the Chompocalypse Spins, the Nuclear Nebula Spins, and a Feature Buy option (not available to UK users).

Laser Shark Symbols

A Laser Shark symbol can land on any position in the bottom row. When it lands, it fires its laser straight up or diagonally left or right. Each symbol caught in the laser beam transforms into a Wild, with a chance to reveal a multiplier ranging from 1x to 200x.

If the beam strikes an existing Wild symbol, it gains a multiplier. If the Wild already has a multiplier attached, it gets an upgrade.

Force Fields

There are three Force Fields that sit at the left, top, and right edges of the grid. If a Laser Shark beam hits a Force Field, the beam rebounds and continues across the reels in a new direction, converting any symbols in its path into Wilds. If it strikes a Wild symbol or a Laser Shark symbol, it adds a multiplier or increases the existing multiplier if one is already present.

Killer Cosmos Bonus Game

To trigger the Killer Cosmos Bonus, you’ll need three Scatters for 10 free spins. There is more of a chance of landing Laser Shark symbols and landing two Scatters during the feature awards two extra spins, while 3 Scatters awards four extra spins.

Chompocalypse Bonus Game

The Chompocalypse Bonus Game triggers when four Scatter symbols land, awarding 10 free spins. It plays the same as the Killer Cosmos bonus, but each Laser Shark symbol fires lasers in two directions. Landing two more Scatters awards two extra spins, and three Scatter symbols award four extra spins.

Nuclear Nebula Bonus Game

The Nuclear Nebula Bonus triggers with five Scatters, awarding 10 free spins. This round benefits from the Killer Cosmos and Chompocalypse features, with the addition of at least one Laser Shark guaranteed on every spin. There are no Scatters present in this feature, so no chance of retriggers.

Feature Buy

Jaws of Justice includes four Feature Buy options for those outside of the UK.

⭐ Bonushunt Featurespins™ – 3x bet – Each spin is 5x more likely to trigger a bonus game.

⚡ Lazzer Featurespins™ – 100x bet – Each spin is guaranteed to land with at least one Shark Symbol. f

⚡ Killer Cosmos – 100x bet – Triggers the Killer Cosmos Bonus

⭐ Chompocalypse – 250x bet – Triggers the Chompocalypse Bonus

(Feature Buy options are not available to UK players.)

Verdict

Hacksaw Gaming has delivered a confident sci-fi release with Jaws of Justice, anchored by a laser mechanic that drives the action throughout. The artwork is excellent with bold colours, crisp linework, and armoured predators dominating the reels. Each bonus round expands the laser mechanic, giving it identity and a sense of progression rather than repetition.

The 10,000x maximum win may not suit everyone, but it is consistent with Hacksaw Gaming’s volatility and long-term potential. What Jaws of Justice achieves is consistency: strong graphics, sharp feature detail, and enough going on to satisfy the most hardened slot fans. It’s one of Hacksaw’s more distinctive sci-fi-inspired titles and a solid choice for those who prefer mechanics that actively shape each spin.
