Gameplay and Features
The volcano shaped reels hold 3, 4, 5, 6, 6, 5, 4 and 3 symbols on each. You need 4 or more matching symbols to find a winning cluster.
A winning cluster triggers the cascading reels, lava rises and more symbols are spewed onto the reels removing any winning symbols.
The Dormant feature triggers at random in the base game from a non-winning spin. You will then see 1 of 3 features take place, these are:
1, The Rumble feature – where symbols are shuffled and 1 symbol is transformed into a scatter.
2, The Lava feature – where lava erupts and a symbol is thrown out on to the reels, this could be a wild. The layout changes to 4-5-6-7-7-4-5.
3, The Excavate feature – where 3 to 5 symbols are added to the reels.
Pressure feature – this is triggered at random when winning symbols drop away from the reels and new symbols fall into place including a wild. Any wilds that appear can come with a 2x multiplier and more than one will be multiplied together.
Crystallisation feature – this is triggered when the meter is filled with scatter symbols. Every time 3 symbols are collected, a metal symbol is upgraded to gold. There are three levels to reach but the meter resets after each base game spin, but it won’t reset in the Eruption feature.
Eruption feature – this is triggered when you land 6 consecutive cascades, you are awarded 5 free spins that are played out on an 8×8 grid. This feature can be reactivated after another 6 cascades and it will give you an extra spin. During this feature, the crystallisation meter doesn’t reset after each spin and multipliers from the Pressure feature are in play.
