Miner Donkey Trouble is set for release in mid January 2021 and from what we’ve seen, looks to be mad-cap trip down the mines with a charismatic donkey named Trouble. This is a high variance game with an RTP of 96.27% and a maximum win of £1,000,000. This is a superb looking slot that intrigues you the second you see it. The graphics are glossy, high definition and packed full of so much detail, you can’t help but be impressed before you’ve even spun the reels.
The game is based around a miner and his trusty donkey named Trouble, who find themselves stuck down an abandoned mine. But there are treasures to be found. The miner and Trouble are either side of the reels along with a meter to tot up features as you play.
Symbols are various coloured gems and rocks, the red being the most valuable, paying out 250x your stake for a cluster of 18. There are also multipliers and wilds in the form of pickaxes and gold nuggets.
Gameplay and Features
There are features a-plenty here, starting with the cascading reels. When you land a win, the winning symbols are removed and new ones cascade into place in the hope of forming new wins. When those winning symbols are removed, they’re collected in the Donkey Destruction meter to the side. Collect 18 symbols and all rocks are removed from the grid, collect 40 to see all gems and rocks removed and when you have 50, every symbol except gold nuggets are removed and 5 gold nuggets are added.
The more gold nuggets you collect, the bigger the multiplier you will receive. Nuggets don’t count when forming wins, so when they’re removed, the turn into multipliers, known as the Golden Nugget Multiplier feature.
There is also the mega symbol feature, miner’s pickaxe feature, dynamite explosion feature and free spins feature.
Verdict
This is a great all-rounder of a slot. It’s full of action, packed with features and looks great. It will definitely be one to try out when it’s released.
