Glorious Guardians Design
Although there are plenty of Chinese themed slots, Glorious Guardians does have a slightly different feel to it. The lush green hills with temples in the background, along with the bright blue skies, gives it a fresh look.
Flanking the reels are two large stone statues of beasts and there is a traditional Chinese soundtrack accompanying the action.
The reels are bold in colour and consist of 9 to A symbols, along with a white tiger, a phoenix, a tortoise, and two dragons. The gold dragon is the most valuable, paying 3x your stake for 5 on a payline. There is also a wild and 2 scatter symbols.
Gameplay and Features
When you land at least 3 scatters, you’ll receive 3 respins and each additional scatter resets the respins back to 3. At the end of the respins, the total value of the scatters are totted up and you go on to receive that number of free spins.
There’s a yin yang symbol that can drop at random and when it does, you’ll receive either the mini jackpot at 10x your stake, the major jackpot at 100x your stake or the mega jackpot at 1000x your stake.
During the respins, look out for a mystery symbol as when this lands, all other mystery symbols transform into the same one. If the mystery symbols land during the free spins round, they remain in place throughout all the free spins.
If you land a guardian symbol on the 3 high reels either side of the main reels, you’re given 3 respins and have to solve a series of picture puzzles. Retriggering the respins give you more pieces to complete the puzzle and your prize will be based on how complete the picture is.
Verdict
