Sticking with the black and white theme, we have the same styling as the original game, with a creepy black and white background with cobwebs, bats, chains and rocks. It feels very much like an old black and white horror film. The 5×3 reels have a white background with coloured symbols.
Symbols are the low value spades, hearts, clubs and diamonds, followed by bells, devils, 666s and Charlie Chance who is the highest value. There is also a wild which triggers bonus features.
Gameplay and Features
The gameplay centres on the XReelz mechanic. These XReelz are additional reels that spin across the top of the main reels. When you form a win with a wild, the Xreel is highlighted and the multiplier associated with the XReelz position is applied to your win.
The second chance re-spins feature is triggered when you land 2 scatters on the same spin. These lock in place while the other reels spin, giving you the chance to land more scatters. If you land 3, 4 or 5 scatters on that spin, this then activates different features. 3 scatters give you multipliers between 2x and 5x, 4 scatters give you multipliers between 5x and 8x, and 5 scatters give you multipliers between 8x and 25x.
