Join the legendary rocker, Alice Cooper, in Play N Go’s October 2021 slot release, Alice Cooper and the Tome of Madness. With a horror / gothic style and a high volatility, this 5×5 reel slot features cascading wins, random wilds, symbol swaps, moving wilds, mega symbols and free spins.
It has a betting range of 10p to £100 a spin and the top prize up for grabs is 3000x your stake. The HTML5 technology means you can play on both desktop devices, mobiles and tablets.
Alice Cooper and the Tome of Madness Design
Right off the bat, this design is incredible. Set inside a large gothic cathedral, there are tall arched windows to the side with light streaming through. The reels are set between 2 stone pillars and on one side is a meter in a top hat with a skull, and to the other is Alice Cooper tied in chains.
The graphics are sharp, crisp and very detailed and of course, there is a rocking soundtrack to match.
Symbols are 4 various skulls as lower values alongside a cross, a snake, a spider and a heart. There is also a wild which is the Tome of Madness, a mega wild which is Alice Cooper and the key with skull is the scatter.
Gameplay and Features
After each win, the winning symbols drop from the reels and new ones cascade down to fill their position and hopefully form another win. If you don’t land a win, the Reality Effects features can come into play during the base game.
The Temptation Room adds a wild and transforms other symptoms to the same.
The Chamber of Horrors destroys symbols but leave wilds instead.
The Dungeon turns low paying symbols to higher value symbols.
The Insane Asylum turns any high value symbols into just one high value symbol
The chained up mega wild Alice Cooper is released when you collect 3 keys. It is then added to any of the central reels and can walk to either side to help you form wins.
The top hat to the side is charged up with each win and on each level, it delivers a new modifier ranging from 1 additional wild up to 3 reality spins with a 5x multiplier.
When you charge up the reality spins feature, you’ll get the choice of one of the 4 rooms mentioned above with its corresponding modifier.
Verdict
Whether you’re an Alice Cooper fan or not, you will love this slot. It’s pack to the brim with features and the top prize is pretty decent too.
