Big Time Journey is a stunning video slot from Odobo / Foxium that will take you on a thrilling journey through time. Join Arthur the inventor who sits to the left of the reels and moves from Edwardian London through the Victorian era, the Jurassic period, the Medieval age, and the Ice Age depending on how game play progresses. This is a low variance game, with a solid RTP of 96.02%, and while not loaded with features it does deliver an engaging and enjoyable slot experience.
Games
The slot is set on a 5-reel, 3-row format, and with up to 25 pay lines to play with. Game play is sedate and measured, with subdued but urgent and ominous instrumental music driving play forward with a surprising energy. There are the standard Wild and Scatters, but the main fun and best potential for winnings comes in the Free Spins round, which can be triggered to deliver a potential 60 free plays.
Design
Big Time Journey is set in Edwardian London, and the background graphics are quite simply awesome. Refined, detailed and with a 3D effect that breathes life into every aspect of the design, this slot is worth a look for its appearance alone. An industrial-looking time machine forms the reel-set, and is filled with jewels, clocks and steel playing card symbols. The backdrop changes as Arthur travels through time on the spin of a wheel whenever the Free Spins bonus is triggered.
Bonuses and Features
Wild – replaces all but the Scatter symbols
Scatter – represented by the Big Time Journey game logo
Free Spins Round – land 3, 4 or 5 of the Scatters anywhere on the reels to trigger the round and receive 8, 15 or 30 Free Spins respectively. You also get to spin a wheel to activate the time travel component of the game and change the backdrop for the duration of the round. Each time this triggers you collect a different coloured gem that sits at the top of the screen – collect all 5 of the standard eras and you will gain access to the Future
