What we know

Mahi Gaming is a relative newbie, coming to life back in 2016, which makes it all the more impressive that they managed to get themselves on Microgaming’s radar as quickly as they did, and based on the games that have been produced since, that was an excellent decision on both sides.

That’s enough history for now though, there are three games that have come out of the Microgaming/Mahi Gaming partnership, and they are all worthy of a mention.

Monkey Keno

The game that started it all off, Monkey Keno is a traditional keno game in terms of gameplay. An 8 x 10 grid with eighty numbers for you to pick from.

However, it is the design that takes this game to a different level, there’s a playful undertone to the whole thing, with a coconut throwing monkey above the hot and cold numbers list.

When you have picked your numbers (between three and 15) you click the Play button, and the monkey will start throwing coconuts onto the grid, 20 in total, the more of your numbers the coconuts cover, the more you win, it’s simple, and its great fun.

Electric Diva

One of two slots that has, thus far, come from the Microgaming/Mahi deal, Electric Diva is a five-reel, 40 payline slot playable from 40p to £50 a spin on all compatible desktop, mobile, and tablet devices.

A fun soundtrack, and a barrage of dark and eerie imagery on the reels (including bats and scorpions) creates a mood quickly, and the exciting Electric Diva Bonus feature offers up to three free spins with a 3x multiplier, which more able to be triggered in the feature, up to a maximum of 40 free spins with an 8x multiplier!

Shanghai Beauty

With five-reels and nine paylines, Shanghai Beauty is an excellent first example of how different Mahi Gaming slots can be.

This slot is far simpler in terms of graphics, with a gentle soundtrack and tranquil imagery throughout.

The bonus features are just as exciting though, with up to 30 free spins with a 3x multiplier available, and this slot is playable from just 9p a spin.

We may be early on in Mahi Gaming’s journey, but what we have seen so far has been incredibly impressive, and explains how Mahi caught Microgaming’s attention so quickly.
