Theme
Set in a post-apocalyptic world where the dead roam the streets, Zombie Rush does have a large element of horror to it. However, the theme is executed in a cartoonish manner, which adds a dash of humour to the game. The backdrop is a burning street with one of the main characters, Max alongside the reels ready to leap into action with his baseball bat. Symbols include Max and his friend Claire, weapons, an array of zombies and of course brains.
Nuclear Zombie Feature
You’ll notice that some of the zombies on the reels become luminous green. This is the result of the wild symbol, which is a drum of radioactive liquid that has been upturned. Whenever the drum lands on top of a zombie symbol, the liquid will seep down and turn every zombie of the same type wild.
