Diamond Blast Zone Design
This is a bright, fun design where you’re mining for diamonds and jewels. The action takes place down a mineshaft, but the majority of the screen is taken up by the 5×7 reels. The graphics are crisp and sharp but there’s nothing wildly exiting that we haven’t seen before.
Symbols are the lower value J to A royals, which are joined by the higher value symbols of emeralds, rubies, orange gems, the game logo and drilling machines.
Gameplay and Features
The wild will substitute any other symbol and the drills scatters are needed to trigger the free spins. Each time you form a win, those winning symbols are removed and new ones cascade down the reels to fill their places. Each time this happens the multiplier increases, up to 10x.
If the reels spin but no wins are formed, a bomb blast can happen at random which clears an area of symbols with new ones falling in to place to hopefully form a win. Mystery symbols can also land randomly and these can turn into any other symbol on the grid.

Verdict
If you enjoy the gem or mining themes, then this may pique your interest. There’s nothing innovative about it, but the multipliers, bomb blasts and free spins add to the excitement. Unfortunately, the maximum pay out is only 200x your wager which is pretty low, especially for a high variance slot.
