Wonder Train is a fantasy-inspired video slot from ELK Studios, released on 3 November 2026. The game introduces Wilbur, an eccentric tycoon with an insatiable appetite for gold and a rather unusual approach to railway engineering. Owner of Wilbur’s Gold Company, he built an extraordinary steam locomotive powered by his growing fortune. Unfortunately, his obsession with wealth shows no signs of slowing down.
Wilbur’s magnificent Wonder Train travels through picturesque countryside, collecting riches to fuel the endless journey. The more gold he accumulates, the faster his locomotive travels, eventually reaching speeds beyond the clouds and into space. It’s an extravagant adventure, although Wilbur appears more concerned with filling his furnace than admiring the scenery.
Beyond the colourful railway theme, Wonder Train features a Multiplier Track, Global Multiplier Bell, respins, and three bonus rounds. Wilbur’s Coin Fever adds a coin-collection feature, while two bonus games offer more chances to build multipliers. The max win of 10,000x the bet is fine, but is it enough to satisfy Wilbur’s insatiable appetite for wealth?
Technical Details
Wonder Train features five reels, four rows and 20 fixed paylines. Wins require three or more matching symbols on consecutive reels, starting from the first reel on the left.
Stakes range from £0.20 to £100 per spin. However, UK-licensed casinos cap the max per spin at £2 for players aged 18–24 and £5 for those aged 25 and over.

Wonder Train Design
Wonder Train adopts a colourful cartoon style, with rolling green hills, distant mountains and a cheerful steam locomotive travelling through the countryside. Wilbur, the eccentric driver with his magnificent purple moustache, is full of personality. The reels sit in the centre of the screen, with the multiplier track above.
The scenery changes during the bonus rounds. During the Free Spins, the locomotive travels through the clouds beneath a starry sky. During Wilbur’s Coin Fever, the engine’s fiery interior is revealed. Animated machinery, drifting steam and lively sound effects complement the playful artwork, creating a charming railway adventure with a touch of fantasy.
Wonder Train Symbols
The paytable reflects Wilbur’s extravagant railway adventure. The traditional J, Q, K, and A card ranks complete the low-value symbols and award 0.25x for a five-symbol combination.
The high-value symbols are the gold bar, clock, suitcase, and oil can, awarding between 0.4x and 2.5x the stake for five matching symbols.
Special symbols play an important role. The Wild has a huge W and helps form winning combos. The Bonus Scatter is a locomotive, and three or more trigger the Bonus Game. Collecting three Golden Coins in a single spin triggers Wilbur’s Coin Fever.
Features
Wonder Train features several mechanics based on Wilbur’s gold-powered locomotive. These include the Multiplier Track, Global Multiplier Bell, Gold Coins, Wilbur’s Coin Fever, Free Spins and X-iter.
Respins
A Respin triggers after each winning combination. The winning symbols remain sticky while the reels spin. Each Respin creates more opportunities to land winning combinations and collect additional multipliers. Respins continue as long as new wins land, and the accumulated multipliers add to the final payout.
Multiplier Track and Global Multiplier Bell
The Multiplier Track is above the reels, with each train carriage displaying a multiplier value. Each new winning combination moves the track one position left, and the multiplier from the leftmost carriage adds to the Global Multiplier Bell.
The Global Multiplier Bell multiplies the total win, excluding Coin payouts at the end of the round. The Global Multiplier Bell and Multiplier Track reset, and the game assigns new random multiplier values to the carriages before the next spin or Free Spin.
Bonus Game and Super Bonus Game
Wonder Train features two Free Spins bonuses. Three Scatters award 10 Free Spins, while four award 15. Landing five Scatters triggers the Super Bonus Game, which begins with 15 Free Spins and the Multiplier Wild Meter set at Level 5.
Both modes retain the base game’s Respins, Multiplier Track and Global Multiplier Bell mechanics. However, the Multiplier Wild Meter adds an exciting element to winning combinations.
The Multiplier Wild Meter begins at Level +1 in the regular Bonus Game. It increases by +1 up to a maximum of level10.
Whenever a Wild contributes to a winning combination, it becomes a Multiplier Wild. The value of the first activated Multiplier Wild is added to the Global Multiplier Bell. Any additional Multiplier Wilds transfer their values to the Multiplier Track carriages, starting with the leftmost available carriage. After applying its multiplier, each Multiplier Wild locks in position and reverts to a regular Wild.
The Global Multiplier Bell continues to multiply eligible line wins at the end of each round, excluding Coin payouts. Its value and the Multiplier Track reset between Free Spins, following the same rules as the base game.
Additional Bonus Scatters can land during the Free Spins, each awarding two additional spins. However, you cannot retrigger another complete Bonus Game within the feature. Gold, Silver and Bronze Coins remain active, including the possibility of activating Wilbur’s Coin Fever.
Wilbur’s Coin Fever
Wilbur’s Coin Fever triggers when three Coin symbols land during the Base Game or Bonus Game, awarding three Respins. The feature plays on a grid with only two of its five rows unlocked.
Bronze, Silver and Gold Coins can land during the feature, each revealing a cash value. New symbols remain fixed for the duration of the bonus, and landing at least one symbol on an unlocked row resets the Respin counter to three. Symbols can also appear in locked rows, but they do not contribute to the payout or reset the counter until their rows become available.
Three special symbols can influence the outcome:
Pressure Symbol: Unlocks the next row, expanding the active grid by five positions before transforming into a Coin. Up to three Pressure symbols can appear, allowing all five rows to become available.
Collector Symbol: Collects the values of all visible symbols on the unlocked rows, adds their combined value to its own position and transforms into a Coin.
Dealer Symbol: Adds its value to the other visible symbols on the unlocked rows, then converts into a Coin.
When multiple special symbols land together, Pressure triggers first, followed by Collector and Dealer.
Unlocking the fifth row introduces another advantage. Whenever new symbols land on the fifth row, the Coin values are doubled. This can occur repeatedly during the same bonus.
Wilbur’s Coin Fever ends when the Respin counter reaches zero or every available position is occupied. The values of all Coins on the unlocked rows are added together to determine the final payout.

The Multiplier Track and Global Multiplier Bell work seamlessly with the Respin mechanic, while Wilbur’s Coin Fever adds variety through its expanding grid and collection features. The Free Spins bonuses offer more chances to build multipliers, though special features are needed for the bigger payouts.
