Propaganda 2 is a dystopian-themed video slot from ELK Studios, released on 22 October 2026. Four years after ELK released Propaganda, the rebels of LA11-1 are back, and as determined as ever to overthrow the oppressive regime controlling their society. The setting wouldn’t look out of place in George Orwell’s 1984, where freedom is dangerous, and those in power prefer obedient citizens.

This time, however, the resistance has adopted a rather unexpected weapon: love. Apparently, bringing down a totalitarian regime requires more than angry slogans and a few cans of spray paint. Technical

Propaganda 2 features a 6-reel, 6-row layout with a Cluster Pays system. Five or more matching symbols connecting horizontally or vertically form a win. Successful clusters disappear, allowing new symbols to fall into the empty positions through the Avalanche mechanic and potentially creating further wins in a single spin.

The red-clad citizens no longer resemble a population resigned to its fate; they’re beginning to look like a resistance movement with something worth fighting for.

The artwork is excellent, with vivid colours, detailed surroundings, and energetic animations that give the sequel a noticeably different personality. Propaganda 2 presents a society that discovers the courage to challenge its rulers, proving that even behind identical masks, the desire for freedom is hard to suppress.

Symbols

The lower-paying symbols in Propaganda 2 reflect the resistance movement’s message of hope and unity, featuring a ribbon, a globe, flowers and a winged heart. Wins are formed when clusters of five or more matching symbols connect horizontally or vertically. Clusters of 36 or more symbols award between 20x and 40x the bet.

The high-value symbols are a walkie-talkie, pistol, mask, and bomb. Apparently, the rebels haven’t abandoned every traditional method of revolution just yet. Clusters of 36 or more matching symbols award between 50x and 100x the stake.

Several special symbols complete the line-up. A fist represents the Wild, while a heart serves as the Love Bomb symbol. The Wild Strike is the hand with a flare, and a white dove is the Bonus symbol. Features include Cascading Wins, Propaganda Wilds, Love Bombs, Wild Strikes, The Drop and Bonus Rounds.

Cascades and Global Multiplier

Every successful revolution needs momentum; even a modest winning cluster can start something big. When five or more matching symbols connect horizontally or vertically, they disappear from the grid, and new symbols fall into the empty positions. This Avalanche mechanic continues for as long as new winning clusters land.

Each winning cluster contributes to the Global Multiplier, which increases according to the number of symbols involved in the win. Larger clusters therefore provide greater increases to the multiplier, while consecutive Avalanches offer further opportunities to raise its value.

The accumulated Global Multiplier applies to winning combinations during the round, increasing the payouts as the action progresses. It resets when the round ends, although different rules apply during the Bonus features.

Wilds

The raised fist represents the Wild symbol in Propaganda 2 and substitutes for all regular paying symbols to help form winning clusters. Every successful cluster leaves behind a Wild in one of the empty positions after the winning symbols disappear.

Ordinary Wilds have a 1x multiplier. When several Wilds contribute to the same winning cluster, they merge into a new Wild, combining their multiplier values. For example, three Wilds worth 1x each create a new Wild with a 3x multiplier.

If a Multiplier Wild contributes to more than one winning cluster, its value is applied separately to each cluster. Meanwhile, a winning cluster consisting entirely of Wilds pays the same as the highest-paying regular symbol.

With every successful cluster leaving another Wild behind, the resistance has a simple strategy: one victory creates the opportunity for another.

Feature Symbols

Collecting six activated Mask symbols triggers The Drop Bonus. The feature begins with three spins with only pay, Wild, Collect and Upgrade symbols.

All symbols remain on the grid between spins. Landing at least one new symbol resets the counter to three, giving players more opportunities to build winning clusters.

Three special symbols influence the payouts:

Upgrade Symbol: Upgrades every paying symbol on the grid to a more valuable symbol. Once the upgrade is complete, the Upgrade symbol transforms into the same symbol.

Collect Symbol: Gathers symbols from a selected area of the grid to create one cluster. It then changes into the paying symbol represented by that cluster.

Wild Symbols: Add their Multiplier to the cluster they’re in. If several Wilds contribute to one cluster, their values are combined before the winnings are calculated.

Love Bomb: Feature Symbols contribute their energy to the Love Bomb meter, which is saved between rounds.

Once the meter is full, the Love Bomb triggers all the Feature Symbols in either the base game or the Bonus Drop.

The Bonus Drop

There’s plenty happening beneath the surface, too. Cluster Pays and Avalanches provide the foundation, while Wild multipliers and the Love Bomb create opportunities for bigger wins. The Drop adds another layer of excitement, particularly when new symbols keep extending the bonus.

The downside is that so many interacting features take time to understand. High volatility and a hit frequency of around 23.2% mean players should expect quieter spells. And while the 25,000x maximum win is tempting, it’s an exceptional outcome rather than a realistic expectation.

Propaganda 2 is an entertaining sequel with a distinctive personality and plenty of winning potential.
