Whisker Jones

Get ready to explore the South American jungle with Whisker Jones, the latest slot from 1×2 Gaming. This is an Indiana Jones style video slot, with a 96% RTP and medium variance. You can bet from 10p up to £50 per spin and features include free spins, multipliers, scatters, wild and spreading wilds.

Whisker Jones Design

There is a really bright and bold jungle background where you join Whisker Jones in his quest for treasure. Whisker is on the left of the reels and winks at you every time you win or trigger the slot features. The 5 x 3 reels are set within a temple and the soundtrack is brilliant. It really gets you in the mood to adventure!

Symbols include the J to A Royals as the lower paying values, then there is a snake and range of cat explorers. To land a win, you’ll need at least 3 on a line and if you get 5 of the same, that will form a winning combination. Payouts range from x5 to x6 for the lower value symbols, all the way up to 50x for the higher paying symbols, depending on which land.

Gameplay and Features

The main features are the wilds, free spins and scatters. 3 or more scatters will trigger the free spins round, starting out with 8 free spins.

During the free spins round, if a bonus symbol lands, you’ll receive an extra spin. Also, all the lower value symbols are removed rather than transforming into wilds and all winning combinations are doubled.

The wild symbol is a cat with a headdress on and this substitutes all other symbols. When a wild lands on the 3^rd reel, it also turn 6 other random symbols wild too.

Verdict

There isn’t any innovative features here and the theme is quite similar to other games out there. However, the graphics are excellent, it feels fun and exciting and the soundtrack is fab! It might not break the boundaries, but it’s certainly worth a spin!
