Microgaming has devised this game based on the popular ‘Tomb Raider’ comic book and movie series.
Objective
It is a 5 reel, 30 pay-line video slot machine with lively animations and with the objective of the game being Lara on an adventure to find pieces of a lost sword.
Play from as little as 30p a spin up to £6 a spin.
Wild
Lara is the wild symbol and can substitute for all other symbols on the reels except the Passport and Excalibur Key symbol to give you more winning combinations.
Excalibur Key
The Excalibur Key is the games scatter symbol. Just get 2 or more scatters on the reels to multiply your total bet up to 100 x!
Bonus
Get 3 or more keys to activate 10 free spins. Winning symbols after collecting your prize will dissolve and will be replaced with other symbols that can also bring prizes.
Consecutive wins will also give you a 5 x multiplier.
Global adventure bonus
This can be activated when the passport symbol appears on all 5 reels. To activate all of the reels you must get the passport symbol on the centre of the reel.
You then select a location to begin your search for the hidden sword pieces. Locations include:
London, Bolivia, Nepal, Ghana and Tokyo. Lara will swing across the reels to look for the pieces. Watch out for booby traps though as 2 of these will end the bonus round. If you locate all sword pieces you will win a random cash prize.
Hidden Treasure
Each location has 6 artefacts which are cash prizes, with hidden treasure. So, cash with a sword piece or cash with a booby trap.
If the hidden treasure is found you can then choose a further cash prize, a 2 x multiplier or entry into the shootout bonus feature.
Shootout Bonus
This bonus round contains 15 discs which all hide mystery values. It is an elimination game where you need to guess the disc with the highest value. Lara can also get a sword piece here if she defeats Amanda.
Tomb Raider Secret of the Sword is fun, full of action and entertaining with great features and is well worth having a go.
