The popular German holiday of Oktoberfest is the theme for this new slot from Novomatic, taking you into the heart of this beer heavy annual celebration that, unsurprisingly, takes place in October.
About the slot
With five reels and 50 paylines, Stein Haus is playable from 50p to £50 per spin on all compatible desktop, mobile, and tablet devices.
The slot is set inside a festival beer tent, with beer and sausages amongst the symbols on the reels, alongside Lederhosen clad characters. The traditional 9, 10, J, Q, K, and A playing card symbols play the part of the lower value symbols.
The Steins provide the wild symbol which will replace all symbols apart from the scatter, and pay out 20x your bet for five on a payline.
The scatter is represented by the Stein Haus logo, and will trigger the Free Games feature which we will get into shortly.
This is a fun and playful looking slot, bringing the spirit of Oktoberfest to life while (for the most part) avoiding leaning too much on clichés and stereotypes.
Gameplay
Land three, four, or five scatter symbols for 10 free spins along with 2x, 20x, or 200x your stake respectively.
All the scatters that triggered the feature will now become wild symbols that cover two positions on the reels, moving around the reels for every spin.
These double stacked wild symbols give the opportunity to fill the reels with wild symbols and land some huge wins if you’re lucky.
There may only be one feature here, which is always a bit of a shame, but it triggers regularly, and the addition of the moving stacked wilds adds a lot to the gameplay.
Stein Haus is not the most exciting slot that you’ll ever play, but it is still an enjoyable experience.
