Following on from the 2016 Silver Lion slot game, Lightening Box are back with Silver Pride, an African wildlife themed slot release for June 2021. This medium volatility slot has 1024 ways to win and is set on 5×4 reels. It features wild spins with multipliers, free spins, scatters, wilds and stacked symbols with bets starting at 10p and rising to £100 per spin. It’s available to play on all devices and has a top prize of 5600x your stake.
Silver Pride Design
The action takes place on the plains of Africa with a beautiful purple sunset and grasses and trees in the background. The graphics are crisp and the symbols on the reels are highly detailed.
We have 9 to A royals along with hippos, zebras, meerkats, warriors and a white lion which is the most valuable. The Acacia tree is the wild and can only land on the 2nd to 4th reels and the diamond is the scatter which triggers the free spins.
Gameplay and Features
The wild can replace all other symbols except the scatter, to help you form wins, but it’s the free spins that can lead to bigger prizes. To access the free spins round, you need to land at least 3 diamond scatters to give you up to 20 free spins. You can also re-trigger free spins when you land another 2+ scatters.
During the free spins, multiplier wilds can land on the 2nd, 3rd or 4th reels. These come with multipliers worth 2x or 3x and if you land 3 multiplier wilds each with a 3x multiplier, you can boost any winnings by 27x.
Verdict
Silver Pride is very similar to the original Silver Lion both in design and gameplay. Although the design is nice, it doesn’t stand out from all the other African themed slots and there’s very little in terms of gameplay, to give it an edge. The only real feature is the multiplier wilds in the free spins. It’s a little disappointing to be honest.
