We’re on another journey to the African Savannah with Raging Rhino Ultra, the follow-up title from WMS Gaming. This is a 6 x 4 medium variance video slot with an RTP of 96.18%. You can wager from 8p up to £60 a spin and features include free spins, multipliers, scatters and wilds.
Ragin Rhino Ultra Design
Like many other slots, we’re in the African Savannah and surrounded by wild animals and the odd tree dotted around. This is a follow up to the original Raging Rhino slot which achieved great success, but there doesn’t appear to be a huge improvement here. The visuals are decent and it’s all very gold and yellow, so feels rather uplifting from the get-go.
The sun is the wild symbol and can substitute any other on the reels, but it doesn’t have its own value. The scatter symbol is the Diamond and can land on any reel. Land 3, 4, 5 or 6 of these to receive 8, 15, 20 or 50 free spins.
Gameplay and Features
There is a decent bonus round and the possibility of winning 3 different progressive jackpots, so we’re off to a good start.
The Mega Drop feature can happen at any time and give you the option to win either the minor, major or epic jackpots. These are progressive jackpots so need to be won. The higher you stake, the more you can win.
When you’ve landed scatters and the bonus rounds are triggered, you’ll also be awarded multiplier wilds of either 2x or 3x. The bonus round guarantee will trigger if you win less than 10x from the initial scatter win and the win from your bonus round. Therefore, if you manage to trigger the bonus round, you’ll always win at least 10x your wager.
Verdict
Although many will prefer the original, this is a solid follow up with some decent features, just nothing really innovative. The maximum win is £250,000 which is great, and most players will love the 3 progressive jackpot potentials.
