Cute animals have always had a strong presence when it comes to the themes chosen by video slots over the years, but there is no doubt that there has been a plethora of titles with this concept recently, and one of the newest is Pets from PariPlay, a charming, colourful slot focused around, well, pets.
About the slot
A five-reel, 40 payline slot that is playable from 40p to £40 per spin on all compatible desktop, mobile, and tablet devices, Pets is set in a back alley, with various household pets adorning the reels, including dogs, cats, a tortoise, birds, and fish.
The trash can symbol is the wild and substitutes for everything but the scatter symbol, as well as offering 2,500 coins for five in a payline.
The playful soundtrack complements the theme of the game nicely, and although there is nothing particularly original anymore, the slot is put together well enough to still be impressive.
Gameplay
There are three bonus features at play in Pets. Land three bonus symbols and you will enter the Hamster Wheel bonus, the hamster will run in the wheel which will stop on one of three features:
Bonus Multipliers – Land a multiplier of 4, 8, 12, 25, 40, or 80 times your stake.
Wild Cat Free Games – The Wild Cat Free Games feature will give you three free spins, with at least one and up to three reels being fully wild.
Feline Frenzy Free Games – This feature awards seven free spins, and a sticky wild is added on the reel for every spin after the second. These wilds will remain in place, meaning there will be six sticky wilds on your last spin.
A charming little slot which is a step up in quality and gameplay from PariPlay, if you like fluffy animals, you’ll love Pets.
