Kathmandu
Play at Playzee
Created by Microgaming, the Kathmandu slot game is set in the mountains of Nepal. This 5 reel, 9 payline game hopes to take you on a journey to ancient temples as you have fun with a free spins round and multipliers on the way.
Theme
The reels are bordered with ancient patterns and temples in this game, while symbols show maps, cities and elephants with colourful headdresses along with high card symbols. The graphics are simple and cartoon-like which is a shame as the theme has so much potential.
How to Play
The wild in the Kathmandu slot game is the prayer wheel symbol and this can substitute for all the other symbols with the exception of the scatter. If you find 5 of these wilds then you’ll get a great reward in the form of the 6,000 coin jackpot. The next highest paying symbol is the temple and you’ll receive 750 coins if you manage to find 5 of these.
Free Spins
Sadly the only real bonus feature in this game is the free spins round, although with a multiplier on winnings you do have the chance of some good gains in this part of the game. Finding at least 3 temple bell symbols on the reels will reward you with 15 free spins and you’ll also receive a random multiplier, which can reach from 2x up to 5x. You’ll get an extra wild during this round too which is shown as a temple and can help to complete winning symbol combinations so you can win a little extra from the symbols on the reels.
Gamble Feature
The Kathmandu slot does come complete with a gamble feature that can help to top up wins. You’ll need to pick a correct card colour or suit to win- a correct card colour will double your winnings and a correct card suit will quadruple them.
