Hot Blox
Play at SpinYoo Casino
Get ready to think outside the box with this unusual slot from High 5 Gaming, named Hot Blox. This is a high variance slot set on a 3 x 3 grid with an RTP of 96%. You can bet from 5p up to a huge £500 per spin which will appeal to all the high rollers out there. Features include multipliers, free spins and energy symbol collection.
Hot Blox Design
This is a relatively simple design but has been executed well. The 3 x 3 grid sit against a fiery dark red background which looks like molten lava with sparks flying out! Each of the blox within the grid has a neon border and the slow rock soundtrack adds nicely to the overall experience.
The symbols are the J to A as the lower values, but the King and Ace are still worth 1000x your wager for a combination of 9 in a 2×2 mega blox. The higher value symbols are a gold bell, cherries, 4 leaf clover and lucky 7s. The latter has the highest value paying out 5000x your wager for a nine mega blox combo.
Gameplay and Features
The two main features are the free spins and the charged reels which come with multipliers. In order to trigger these, you need to land 3 or more diamond scatters in a 2×2 mega blox. 3 diamond scatters will give you 7 free spins and 4 scatters will give you 10 free spins.
When the free spins begin, a random selection of reels are ‘charged’ with multipliers. The more charged reels, the more multipliers you’ll have. So, 1 charged reel gives you a 2x multiplier, up to 5 charged reels to give you a 10x multiplier, all the way up to 9 charged reels giving you a 100x multiplier.
Verdict
If you’re looking for something a bit different, Hot Blox is certainly worth trying. It’s different to most other slots out there and there are some decent rewards. It just might not keep you captivated for too long once the novelty wares off.
