We head to the Appalachian Mountains where lone hillbilly Skeeter has turned his farm into a casino named Hillbilly Vegas. Designed by Reflex Gaming exclusively for Yggdrasil, Skeeter and his animal pals lead you on a fun-filled adventure around the barns which are filled with slot machines, poker tables, and much more.
About Hillbilly Vegas
Hillbilly Vegas is played on 5 reels with 10 active paylines. The betting range starts at 20p up to £100 per spin with a top prize of 10,000x the bet. The slot is available on desktop and mobile devices, it’s highly volatile with a slightly below average RTP of 95.50% and comes with a plethora of bonus features that should appeal to players looking for a more unique gaming experience.
With ‘Vegas’ in the name you’d be forgiven for thinking Hillbilly Vegas is full of sparkle, glamour, and bright lights, however, it’s a far cry from the bright lights of Las Vegas, you’ll find a hilarious hillbilly casino packed with farm fun, quirky characters and moonshine fuelled capers.
A slightly mean-looking Skeeter can be seen on the left of the screen, a bottle of moonshine in hand, he’s joined by Darlene the flirtatious pig, and Billy Bob the dog. The reels sit in front of a shed and symbols on the reels include card suits, Billy Bob the dog, Darlene the pig, Skeeter and bottle top scatters, and a chicken wild symbol.
Gameplay
Hillbilly Vegas is an extremely innovative slot, packed with bonus features creating a unique gaming experience.
During a paid spin, chip symbols can land anywhere on the reels, if 5 or more land on a spin, you’ll earn a spin on the bonus wheel. Your chip symbols are added to the wheel and the other segments have green dollar chips, below is what you could win from a bonus wheel spin:
Yellow Big Win chips – pay 100x up to 10,000x the bet
Red Free Spin Chips – Up to 30 free spins up for grabs
Hillbilly Bonus Chips – Access to one of three bonus games (Skeeter’s Slots, Moonshine Money, or Nice Dice)
Green Chips – Pays up to 20x the bet
The free spins trigger through the bonus wheel, you get anywhere between 8 and 30 free spins with the opportunity to win more if the spin symbol lands on the middle reel. The spin symbol also triggers another bonus wheel awarding between 3 and 8 free spins, or one of the 5 cash pots awarding between 5x and 100x the bet.
Verdict
Hillbilly Vegas from Reflex Gaming is a fun-filled slot packed with innovative features and a great theme. It’s refreshing to see a new title that isn’t a churned-out clone like so many nowadays, Reflex has stepped outside the box to create a slot worthy of a 10 out of 10 from me.
