Theme

Symbols

The regular symbols in this game (the ones that appear the most) are the General Maximus, Senator Gracchus, Emperor Marcus Aurelius, Lucilla and card faces Ace, King, Queen, Jack, Ten and Nine. All of these symbols have a payout associated with them if they appear on the reels at least three times.

Wild

The wild symbol in this game is the Gladiator Helmet. This symbol will only appear on reels 2, 3 and 4. The Gladiator Helmet wild can substitute for all other symbols to complete a winning combination. The wild does not act as a multiplier but when it appears simultaneously on the three reels, then it initiates the Gladiator Bonus Round.

Wild bonus

The bonus feature is triggered when three of the wild symbols appear on reels 2, 3 and 4 at the same time. In this round, there is a window in the centre of the screen. This window has 9 masks which represent 10x, 5x and 2x the total bet. The player wins an amount which is equivalent to the total value of all the nine masks.

Scatter

The scatter symbol is the Coliseum symbol which can be scattered anywhere on the reels. Two or more scatter symbols on the reels, will result in the player being paid an amount which ranges from 2x to 100x the triggering line bet. Three or more scatter symbols will trigger the Coliseum bonus round.

Scatter bonus

In the Coliseum Bonus Round, the player is shown an array of stones that are arranged in a 4×5 matrix. The player must select one stone from each row.
